"The Art of Shredding" from Pantera's "Cowboys from Hell" album (1990).
And there we go, yet another Pantera cover! This might be the most difficult Pantera song to play. Hard to tell since I don't know the rest but as of now, this is the most difficult one. There are barely any live videos so it's hard to tell at times. I don't know if Rex actually follows the crazy fast guitar riff at 2:31. But hey, it is the art of shredding so we might as well. I heard a lot more bass notes during the intro than I actually found in most online tabs. The bass was really buried at certain points, but I think we got there in the end. Enjoy! And try not to break your arm lol

I can easily tell this song is going to really push me to that next level of playing and I honestly can't wait.
Your playing was amazing and really shows how groovy Rex Brown can be. Great work as always 👌
Thank you so much! And yeah, i'm sure it will :)
Bust'in out some REX! Love it! Rock on!
Wow that was top notch playing, Leo, great video 🤘🏼
Thanks again!
Rex is da man
This is why I suck at bass when it comes to writing. I just play what the guitar is playing even though I don’t want to. I can play like a MF but can’t write for shit
What might help is to start with the bass and the rest of the instruments after!
@@LeoBassCovers2That’s a great idea I’ve thought of before but just ended up putting off for no reason other than laziness (I’ll just write it out later) 😂Thank you. Gonna try it for sure though
Best FUGGIN AOS Bass Cover I’ve seen 🔥
Thank you so much!
Rex being Rex and Leo being Rex .. Awesome job!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
Thanks a lot!
Great video.
Thanks! :)
Awesome stuff!!!
Thanks!
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
oh wow i really need to practice more
Do it!
Hi,how you make your backing track, please, thx
I remove the bass frequencies (anything below 130hz) from the original song. that's it!
Legend. I can’t keep up haha
Could you do "The Last Moonrise by gamma sector"
Damn
Leo, what software do you use for tabs?
reminds me of enter sandman
Why lol? Even if we're doing Metallica comparisons, this is much more like Creeping Death
