The big girls are so special, well done. Just remember guys get your pic & get em back in the water asap, don’t use lip grips on them and don’t hang them to weigh them. I carry a gardening glove to hold the lip and support the belly with other hand. If you’re going to measure on a brag mat, keep the fish in the water in landing net while you set up for a measure.
I'm glad I was able to release her. They seem to be harder to catch these days. My Pa would to tell me how he would catch logs all day long. Never a cold winter.
