What an awesome spot you have there. I'm in Penrith so bit far for me to fish the salt all the time. Next time you go take a piece of plywood and nail it to the tree so you've got a better platform to stand on.
Another great video mate, day one looked like you were at the Northern Territory, hot and humid Any chance you could do a video catching those rare and exotic flatheads 😂 😂 😂
Always enjoy watching these & your explanations....just curious re day2 & the small stream...is that further around from or the same location where you snagged the flounder(s)?....Is that deep around there?
@1upfishing cheers - just curious if it's possible to walk to the weir from there or access the bay from the little stream & the land along that area....given the significant number of snags at the entry to "weir creek" was just curious as unable to get a clear image from google earth etc...
2-3 times in the last few days I've seen other guys on youtube using nippers who snap their pincer off. Is there a reason you wouldn't do that with a plastic lure too? (To me nippers without their pincer look much like soft plastic "shrimp" lures on Aliexpress. It would sure save $.)
Hmmm not sure. I def do not take the nippers off as they make the nipper larger and easier for the fish to see. Some people remove them so they don't get pinched, also nippers do drop their pincers when stressed so maybe they just fall off.

That's a great idea. It'd be underwater come the high tide though so will really need to secure it
Another good session thanks 👍
Thank you for watching
You give great details. That makes your video's so interesting 👍
Nice lure for sure. I’ll have to give them a try!

Nice vid! Good explanations on your method. I swear I could feel the heat from home.
@mitchh3760 it was a heavy thick heat in the mud.
Surprised you don't sink at that spot... I was there today when the tide was at its lowest and sunk down to my knees!
@@mczajkow I've def sunk and learnt where the real deep spots are.
When you Botany mangroves, are you talking Botany side or the Kurnell side?
Kurnell side

@paulzeleny4879 thanks Paul. It's the same spot as the flounder just high tide! It's prob a couple metres deep right out
