    Justin I want to say thank you for all your videos and knowledge you've shared with us. I harvested my first batch of chickens and had my first full dinner off the land. We had chicken, carrots, potatoes, green beans and corn. It was the best meal ever. I may be a little biased. But thanks and stay safe.

    Love what you said about the tree you planted in your Dad’s memory. I planted blueberry bushes (we call them papa berries) in my Dad’s memory and love that we go by them almost daily and can take @ minute to remember Papa without having to go to a cemetery to do so. Makes it feel like he continues to be a part of our daily lives. That’s the way I like it.

  • @matthewgroff433
    @matthewgroff433 4 года назад +1

    You could give the ducks a small plastic kiddie pool to swim in, They will love it! lol
    Instead of using a mason jar lid for the Egg Biscuit, you can use an egg ring similar to what McDonalds uses , Yes there is such a thing available! You can sometimes find them at your local grocery store, Walmart, Target, etc. And you can even find them online. They come in all shapes and sizes and come in materials such as Stainless Steel and Silicone.
    Another thing you might think of for the future is adding some Solar Panels. I read an article in Mother Earth News the one time where the author who had bought a small farm and had made improvements over time. Then he bought a back up generator for the house to power the essential things. He wanted to go full solar, but he did not have the money for a full Solar system, so what he did was purchased a small system of a couple panels and some batteries. It was just enough to power a few things extra what the generator could not. Then when he could afford it he would purchase another 2 panels and/or more batteries. After a few years he ended up with a full solar system for the whole house and then was able to add a solar system to his workshop, and was able to put in an Electric Vehicle charger for their Electric vehicle.

    I'm sure you already are aware of this. Notify your electric provider that you have installed a generator. Should the power go out and the linemen are making repairs, they could be electrocuted from power from the generator when working on power lines.

    In the
    Keto/low carb world mixing egg and cheese equals “Chaffle.” You can make them savory or sweet and use them as a substitute for bread products and desserts. Using a mini waffle maker also lessens the mess. Lots of recipes to be found on Mr Googlepants.

    It be interesting, if you have differential electric fee charges between high consumption and low consumption times you could use batteries to store the power during Lo Fee times and runoff of batteries when Electric use costs are high. I imagine on a 24 hour schedule.
