The outdoor elevators ARE rockets! It literally feels like you’re in a rocket ship!! You’d have to be very brave to ride those elevators! I’m scared of heights!

You're right, 1993 is the year these were first filmed, june 5 to be more specific. These elevators are where elevator filming history was made, because the outdoor scenic elevators at this place are the first elevators dieselducy ever filmed! Hey jim! When I checked Andrew's first video, the fixtures, the bell chime were different. The chime was that of dinner bell. The hotel was original.
The new look was better than in 1993 including the elevators. In this video, the outside glass elevators were better than the atrium glass elevators. I really love the outside glass elevators because they show a beautiful view of the city of atlanta. The hotel is amazingly beautiful when it was remodeled. The special floors like Nikolai's Roof, Trader Vic's Café, etc. were nice. I do love this hotel

These were modernized. Westinghouse do not make elevators anymore as Schindler bought it out since 1989.

What I tell people, and standing in balance, on tiptoe, I also find that fast elevators provide more thrills than a roller coaster (which are less strong, in my opinion, for sitting)!
