If the Eighties had a “definitive” guitar sound, it would be that of DeMartini (AND King Robbin, lest we forget). DeMartini and George Lynch sounded quite similar, but Warren doesn’t get half the accolades, does he?

I was a big Ratt fan back in the 80s. Still have my vinyl LP of OOTC. I kinda grew out of the hair metal type of music, but I still like Ratt. This was my favorite song and I always thought Warren was an awesome guitar player. I see you're still uploading covers of Warren in Ratt songs. That little arpeggio part (or whatever it is called) at :20 is killer... Nicely done!

Nasty tone... Fucking screaming man ! Bitchin solo for sure... Always been a favorite of mine by Warren... It's cool and a surprise to see him playing a Performance are. They were smokin guitars. Right there in Hollywood right off of Vine Street about 2 blocks down from Capitol Records. You had the Army Recruiters Office and The Navy Recruiters Office and Performance Guitars right in the middle of them. A really cool Japanese dude named Kuni was owner and head Luther. He and his 2 sons made a bunch of killer pieces - many were like Charvels and Boogie Bodies and Mighty Mites... It doesn't surprise me to see Warren playing one. Just like a late 80's Charvel for sure. That was when Wayne Charvel owned Charvel before Grover and Joanne Jackson got involved... Those mid - late 80's Charvels are fucking nasty - ripping tone especially run through a 69' Plexi wound all the way up. Just like Warren's sweet ass tone. It's great to see him out there now with Carlos Cavazo in Ratt now. Great combination for sure...
