Didn’t show us shit about the actual kick. What part of the foot do they use? Are you using the metatarsal area of the foot? How open is the foot? Is it at 90° to the target or less? Is it angled towards the ground? In other words, what the position of the foot at impact? How do you elevate the kick? What’s the angel of attack? Is it an inside approach or are you cutting across it with an open foot? Or are you coming from the inside and slightly pushing the ball? Is it straight back and straight through? How high are you trying to move your leg towards the target at and through impact? Are you kicking up on the ball? Where does your plant leg land before impact.. before, at or beyond the ball? What’s your body angle at impact? How much of a knee bend before throwing the foot to the ball for the kick? What part of the ball are you trying to make contact with? I could go on but these are the important questions. Clearly a lot goes into to making a field goal but they showed us nothing of the most important part(s). Thanks for nothing.
