Thank you for using the iPads as an example. I’ve been searching for a UVC sterilizer that has replaceable bulbs that would fit my iPad Pro.

Thinking about this for my cpap

I use it for that. I could probably fit everything in the bin at once but usually break it up and do it 2x. I also still clean everything first, I feel like the UV cleaning is just a little extra, especially for the head gear that I dont clean as often.
Keep in mind, this is not approved by FDA. Also, I would not use the heat/ drying option as I think it will damage the plastics.
Let me know how it works for you!

Hmm I am interested in this but I don't know... I mean if the tubes break e.g. during moving or whatever that would be bad if they cannot be replaced :(

The bulbs are pretty well protected with a metal grate covering them. I would not really be worried about breaking them if just a little care is taken and the container is not filled with stuff (crap). if you are industrious you could probably remove the metal covering and access the bulbs but not sure how well the grate will go back on. The metal or the plastic tabs might get damaged when removing it. There are not that many options for a UV box this big. Thanks for watching!

Can I use it with time greater than 20 minutes?

The disinfect setting only has 10, 15 and 20 minutes. You could immediately do it again and repeat the cycle though.

    are the bulbs replaceable?

Technically yes, but let me check the manual.

So I checked the manual. Nothing in there about changing bulbs, so likely not recommended. However, there are 2 tube like UV bulbs at the top, covered by a metal sheet that looks like it could be removed but I am uncertain if the metal top will go back in right after removed. It is held in by tabs and the metal appears to be very thin, so when you took it off it might bend and not go back in right. If you can find the UV bulbs they appear to be in a fluorescent light tube housing, where you insert it and then twist to install. In the manual it states that the "UV-C appliance lifetime" is 6000 hours. I take that to mean the bulbs will last that long, so hopefully will not be dealing with replacing bulbs for a long time! Hope that helps!
