BROTHERS Mike and Jim Ring from Spring Green, Wisconsin, are two custom car building legends known as 'The Ringbrothers'. And one of their finest builds is a 1956 Ford F100 truck which took an impressive 3,000 hours to build spread over seven months, costing $85,000 in parts alone. Powering the truck is a 415-horsepower 5.0-liter Ford Coyote crate motor which is a really good fit for the 50s pickup. Whilst this vehicle has the looks of a 50s masterpiece, The Ringbrothers are known for blending old-school looks with modern technology. The 1956 Ford F100 is not short of up to date tech either - it has power brakes, electronic transmission, fuel injection, air conditioning and even a bluetooth stereo system. The multi-award-winning car customizers state that the pickup truck is the most American vehicle around, and say they are excited to see what people are doing with these trucks.

The Ring Brothers are amongst the best of the best car builders, without doubt, and this is a fine example of their craft.
Its a peace of art. Wow !!!
Man that is one beautiful 56 F100 brother and that 5.0L Coyote V8 sure is a beast.
WoW!… that truck is sick!!!
first time I hear someone saying:
„the front wheels are to far back, they need to move forward!“
I totally agree with the Ring Brothers … 100%
That's one of the finest looking vintage truck modifications that I've ever seen! Those wheels, that color, the conveniences of modern living! Well done, Ring brothers!
Oh yahhh that color, what? Gray subtle green, second to black. Back in the 50's if they had that color, it was iridescent because class existed, not this hot rod fantasy people think the 1950's were. The Ringling brothers are a massacre to the American name, the real American name that our fathers formed in the 1900s to 1930s, before it was tarnished and ruined by those jumping jive imbeciles called later silent generation teens. Amongst my group if that isn't just ironic enough. 1937, wish I was born again and never witnessed a hot rod.
Absolutely fantastic! The wheels are so awesome and different from the usual 5 spoke American Racing style.
That’s one ☝️ beautiful truck..
You guys did an awesome job..
Henry would’ve been proud of this F100
Congratulations what a beauty it is.
1 of the BEST .... greetings from Germany
What a Sweet Sonford and Son Truck!
It’s a beautiful build guys
This truck and Foose's "Overlord" '56 set the bar for these restos.
That headliner is beautiful
Exelent job guys..The Best 👌 👍..
Beautiful! Looks like Tank Green from a Jeep.
LOVE THE WHEELS ALSO!
That is one sweet truck. (Surprised I came across it 40 minutes after the video posted!) 😎👍🏽
Wow 😯
Subscribe & you'll never miss out.
WOW , very nice >>>>> Thank you .
Beast!
Everything perfect.
I'm not a truck fancier, but I like this.
Never seen a 56 with a 54 grill! Looks awesome!
Yes 7 months is super short time to build something of this quality and craftsmanship, but when you have an entire team of folks turning wrenches around the clock and a hefty budget available it's actually fairly easy to accomplish!
Very Nice !! 😮
Ah! This is Crazy WOW!
I think I’m in love
The 54 grill looks awesome on the truck.. looks like it has fangs 👌🏼🤙
Ring Brothers? A Ford engine in a Ford truck? Yes, what’s not to like . . . ! 😆
Love it!
Why do you keep showing pictures of an old chevy as if it's the before pictures for this f100?
I guess somebody forgot to take actual "before" pictures, and the editor figured "eh, old truck, what's the difference?"
Thank you. That bothered me too.
Crap before, awesome after 😉
I wondered the same thing.
I was thinking the same thing
Crazy cool ridiculously awesome 🤩❤️...!!!!
Luv them 53 to 56 F-100's
Love those F100’s
Nice job
One sexy truck....love the green..
Awesom truck
3:36 that is a 51 Chevy pickup truck interior.
They added clips of a different truck for some reason
Can someone explain why lowering trucks is so popular? Seems to me like losing function for form
Mine I lifted it a little bit. But the wheels are 22s too
I mean no disrespect but if someone has to explain it to you you will never understand imho
@@cliveeade6727 None taken. I suspect you’re right too. To each, their own and all that.
Because it's NOT used as a work truck or a hauler anymore yet a ROAD truck capable of keeping up with actual sports cars that cost way more money. They handle and ride so much better after being lowered.
@@tedpiehl255 THAT'S JUST DUMB
The color is absolutely stunning.... Wauw
Nice build, its subtle things that make a good factory looking build.
Truck looks great, but why are you showing before pictures for a 50 model GMC?
strange all the before and after pictures .... are the 1956/54 ford F-100 (before) , but the after pics are 48/54 chevy ? ... why ?
That's it I'm selling my wife 😂 gorgeous truck 👍
Hello, do you guys build the weather strip chrome custom trim for the wrap around rear window for the 1957 1959 f100 ?
Ilike it ✌️👍🖐️🌞👏👏👏
Beautiful pickup. Sure miss my 3/4ton 64 Ford flatbed. (F-200?) It was a neat old truck. Also miss my old VWs. I could work on those!
What is that color called?
Very cool pickup
This it color is recon green??? Mopar color???
Did they add power steering
Beautiful F1 , , , to bad suspensions busted!
I really want that paint code. I’m planning to buy the hood hinges and a few more things for my 56’ f100 anyway I hope their nice enough to give me the paint code.
Felicidades quedó estupenda pero es modelo 1954 por la parrilla F100 desde México los Ricardo
I love everything about it but it being lowered and the rims.
That's the coolest paint color of all time.
Try again.
@@WitchKing-Of-Angmar Funny thing, that's what your mother said to me this morning.
@@zeropoint546 my mother's been dead since 1972, but yet I'm certain she would say that, since you couldn't provide anything the first time.
Now as for those colors, that hideous nocturnal unsaturated green is ridiculous, anything can be nicer, a dark Jade, iridescent gold, Matador red, a two tone which was common 12 combinations. I think a deep blue and a light autumn greenish yellow would look so interesting and certainly neet together, don't you think you insufficient waste of a sex partner? My word, to think normal conversations could be spoken in the bright gleeming year of 2021.
@@WitchKing-Of-Angmar Oh, and in a lithping voithe I say: I find the murky darkness of that green to be mysterious and dangerously alluring. Like a pond filled with some dangerously poisonous slime. One daren't even dip ones toe lest it is eaten by the monsters that surely reside beneath.
@@zeropoint546 the only monster your going to get is a monster bump on your head from smacking it into cold hard metal, there's no alluring pond there, it's an automobile. Get back to your Ford Hot Rod, one of the 6,000,000 you all practically live over.
@3:20 >...Ford LEFT hand truck....then a Chev truck.........then Right hand drive Ford truck!...then back to left hand...
RIDICULOUS alright!....lol
🇺🇸
That's Stallone's from Expendables
NOT even close to same truck
Why does that grille throw me? Does it look like a '54 grille to you?
They said in the video that it’s a 56 cab with a 54 grill. ...twice.
Did you listen?
@@dieseldabz7104 Sorry, I wasn't sufficiently impressed to pay close enough attention. I reviewed the video and I see that you were right!
Take a shot everytime they say "actually".
??? If you're talking about this clip I hear the total count of the word "actually" being a 0.
"$85,000.00" in parts alone! Damned glad I'm not counting how much money I have in my '57 F-100! 😅😲
Probably not anywhere near as nice as this one is I'll bet..
@@dieseldabz7104 Personal opinion? Mine is better.... because it's MINE! But, if I had $200,000.00 PLUS to spend on mine, parts and labor, who knows! 😁
wilfredo arce ortiz
Yeah I’m like some of the other people why do you keep showing a stupid Chevy!!!! when it’s a Ford and thank God those guys put a Ford engine in it they are OK in my book
Yup overplayed Coyote motor just like Chevy's LS platform
Modern sounds rainbow
It will be more beautiful if it is not lowered, let's go!!!!
Wrong
@@dieseldabz7104 Original design is the best!!!
“What’s not to like”
The damn gas prices!
Let’s go Brandon.
Sure hope they moved the gas tank
The producers of this video kept showing 50s Chevy fenders. Incompetent.
I like how it turned out but saying "An F100 like no other" is a bit much. Ok hear me out. Take any old truck. Repair it to showroom condition. Cram a huge, 600HP V8 under the hood (but only drive it at 30mph). Spend thousands of dollars on wheels, unnecessary accessories, like diamond plated rearview mirror housing, rollbar filled with mercury, LED screen in the glovebox facing the engine so it doesn't get bored, all in the name of desperately trying to prove that it's unique. But sure, you can say that there's no other truck like that.
@Rail Skills Sometimes I get to drive our 2003 Suzuki Alto. Why does it matter tho? Our financial situation is irrelevant in this case, I can have taste in cars and make fun of these people all day if I want to.
@@repapeti98 let's see... the last F100 I saw with a coyote engine went across the auction block at $ 220.000 in less than 3 minutes.
Never heard a single exhsust note. That sucks
Great you people are doing a fab job saving the classics by any means possible shame that in India we soon going to loose everything whatever left with some stupid laws.
I got to be the first to comment yay !
Way too much wasn't shown
Any idea when the ugly fashion of making a beautiful old truck drag its arse along the road will end? It’s a bit cheesy now isn’t it.
beautiful truck hard to call it a restomod when its lowered , bad look for any truck congrats you totally ruined the restomod look
I am sorry it is a Chevrolet
Why on earth would you change it from good old carbureted to stupid fuel injection
Because the same reason they didn't put a flathead in it , reliability
@@hieronymus..bosch8532 carbureted is better easier serviced and more reliable
@@conortobin1537 I think you'll find you're wrong .
all my carbureted cars need constant maintenance my EFI cars don't
Sftu old man
@@conortobin1537 Maybe in 1978 but NOT in 2021 so wake the hell up guy..
Build a 56 and put the wrong grille on it. Cant even watch, bc that just looks so bad
Which they admitted and it's a Restomod not a restored classic
🤢
They ruined it,resto mods are a waste. If you can't keep it original leave it alone.
THAT is your opinion, not all of ours...
Let's see...the last F100 with a coyote engine I saw went across the auction block for $220.000 in less than 3 minutes.
That's almost a quarter of a million dollars...schools out .
