Thank you for making this video. Your R2D2 is awesome! After watching your video, I started my research about remote control droids and checked our local stores. Glad that one of our local stores still have some stocks (not the same as yours, but they'll do), and I finally got myself Sphero's R2D2 and BB-9E!
Eee, R2 was always one of my absolute favorites! He and little GoGo (steered by the ever-awesome little man, Fisher 👍😉) seemed to have a lot of fun trying out that brand new dance, "L👀KOUT, I'M OUTTA CONTROL!" Lol! Oh man, that was too funny! I loved it all! 💚
I found your channel a few months ago and I am a more like a „silent watcher“, but I just want to say that I really love your channel and all the work you put into it. I love Baby Yoda/Grogu/The Child and it is so nice to have frequent videos about Merchandise etc. (even if the most stuff unfortunately isn‘t available in Germany). I have a little collection with the Mattel Child, a keychain, a T Shirt, a self printed plate and bedding. Baby Yoda just always makes me smile and so do your videos! Love from Germany! 😊
For 6 months I thought the R2 droids had a design flaw with the center wheel. Watching you video I learned to move the back feet up so all 3 points touch the ground. May the force be with you.

Ooo I just got the C3P0! So with him I got an R2 and a grey personality chip for fun. Be sure to get the Droid depot app people! ❤️ C3P0's Pistons work so you can bend his arms. All his limbs, head, and faceplate come off. He reacts to all of it. His eyes light up. His ankles, wrist and shoulders pivot. Long press his belly 30 seconds and he says the whole ewok story. Just telling you Krista (spelling?) I'm case you were on the fence about an R2 friend. He costs less too
Yay for more interactive items. Now I kind of want to see him with the interactive Grogus. Maybe they can all dance together. He's fast! Grogu might have to use the force to slow him down next time. *Great video 😎*

Ohhhhhh I love them so so much!!! I’m generally not big on the remote control items but R2 is a special exception! I would love him anyway but since he is also now part of The Mandalorian it makes it even better!! I just love it when he connects with little Grogu like long lost friends (which they may be) This definitely get a totally rad! And goes on my forever mounting wish list 😂❤️❤️
Bought r2-d2 and when I started playing with it it kept falling over then I realized the arms are supposed to go backwards 🤦♂️ to stop it from falling thanks lol

It is a Droid Depot product. I know the dome IS removable because he fell over and it popped off 😂 You can also add one of the personalty chips to him. Not sure about the legs.
@@NelsonVlog66 yeah… though if you got it when it was still around, it’s still useable. Plus you can still use the droids with the Sphero EDU app. So it’s not a total loss. Plus I think if you have an android phone, you can hack the app back onto the system with minimal issues. I have two R2-D2’s, and amazingly enough they are the one Sphero product that actually still has good batteries. Almost every other Sphero I own has had battery issues over the years.

Definitely a decent evolution of the original Hasbro interactive R2-D2 and it looks pretty good in comparison to the Sphero R2-D2.
I've heard the app for the Sphero droids is no longer available for download or supported. Sucks for the people who spent the big bucks for those.
