it's crazy how accurate this AWM sample from this Yamaha Chip was close to the original sample use on the arcade game board, i wonder if they sample the Peter Erskine kit or the Steve Gadd one, the drum have this typical yamaha big fatness sound ^^ from the mid 80's, the original of course use FM sound for most instrumental part except for the drum sample probably provided by Yamaha for Sega at the time they build the chip...

69.2MHzですね。もしかしたら作曲者はエレキギターを入れたかったのかも知れませんが、当時のFM音源では迫力のあるエレキギターの音は作れず、3曲ともいわゆる鍵盤楽器の音色が中心で、それを活かしたこのラテン・フュージョンが最も出来が良く感じられます。恐らくこのゲームでのアレンジのもどかしさが、後のアフターバーナーへ繋がったのでは無いかと思います。
