The original audio is not in English. That's why it seems out of sync.
Original is in German. We try our best to make it sound good in English. Sorry if it is not perfect.
Damn, I've thought it was my Samsung buds 2 pro
It's perfectly fine! Thanks for your work, really enjoyable and useful.
Been driving the Highland for 3 months now and I never could get use to the no turn signal lever so I bought the OEM aftermarket stalks sold by a couple companies and it works flawlessly like my Model Y ! Cost less than $400 to convert and totally worth it. i love my Highland now! Problem solved !
Omg KITT one of the best ideas for the locking sound ever!!
Please copy and have fun 🤩
For the turn signal on roundabouts i would suggest that once you press the button to signal that a large indicator button appears on the screen which you can press or have the voice recognition primes to listen for "left signal" etc
Yeah, roundabouts are a problem. Here in Australia, even with stalks, nobody indicates correctly!
Nice idea 💡
In the roundabouts, if you press the button that goes in the direction that you want to move the steering wheel is not that hard, for me at least. ;)
Sound is the KIT car from Night Rider
Yes 🙌 I love this series.
Thank you for sharing this. Ur hard work to release videos in different languages is huge!
Thank you for appreciating ✌🏼
What’s your native language Robin?
German
@@Robin_EV Jawol! I love Germany. Keep up the great content.
I loved knight rider growing up !!! I always wanted a Trans- Am now I have the next best thing a refreshed M3 LR
It will talk to you soon! Grok Integration will come 😎✌🏼
I ❤ my Model 3 Highland too 😊
🤩
hmm. Wonder if the best way to think about it is to push the button facing direction you turn the wheel so you don't have to look at the buttons, just feel for ridge. Maybe ill be forced to try someday 😱. Cross that bridge if I come to it:)
It is easier than you think and you should try it out.
love this car so far in all of its simplicity. Only issue is my regret getting the upgraded Nova wheels. The standard black wheels without the wheel covers look amazing. Can you tell me what wheels are on yours in the video?
I named my car Kitt and as soon as I figure it out I'm going to be adding this to my lock sound 😅😅
I remember an option in Autopilot settings in Tesla where you can select that autopilot or ACC should be following detected speeds instead of your set speed
I could never find that option in my German Tesla. Maybe a regional problem.
@@Robin_EV I have that option in my Model 3 LR Highland and I'm from the Czech Rep. You need to go to the settings -> Autopilot -> option Set Speed -> choose "Speed Limit" instead of "Current Speed". But speed limit out of map source + GPS instead of reading speed limit signs, not working in the EU, is very often wrong and unusable. My older Skoda Superb, Kodiaq or VW Passat were reading all speed limit signs just fine. Tesla, "the master of automation", is not doing that. What a shame!
There have been aftermarket stalks available for a while now.
As of 5/28 I still don't have the spring update by the time I get it if I get it , it might as well be called Summer update 😂😂
you should really try FSD, but I think you should wait a little bit. Wait until version 12.4 comes out, in a few weeks, and that's supposed to be 5x safer.
I will try FSD because it is the biggest breakthrough in mobility I can imagine. Will wait for 12.4 because no nag anymore 🤩👌🏽
12.3.6 to 12.4 is 5x safer? Where did you hear that absurd claim?
@@DerekDavis213 Elon said it'll be between 5 to 10 times less interventions per mile. I 'm thinking something like 3-4 times maybe
@@gioelestendardo2819 Elon has a history of saying things that are false. That guy cannot be trusted.

Nice video man! I am thinking to buy my first EV , Tesla model 3 LR.
I recently leased my first ever EV. I don't think I will ever go back to gas. I love it. I got the M3 RWD
I really love it and you will too 😎✌🏼
Please fix that. The voice speed changing
We will check it and try to improve it over time. Please give us some time.
Did you use AI to translate and voice it? If yes then I need this tool right now lol!
Exactly 👍🏼 I used dubly.ai and tell them that you came because of Robin TV (EV). Maybe you get a discount.
Very good video. 👏🏽👏🏽 I'm ordering one.
The new model 3 has a very nice and beautiful design improvement, I have already been to a test drive of the new model 3 (and one for the x plaid) but to say the trough, I cannot get used to the car having only the buttons for signaling... sorry tesla but until I have back the traditional signaling system you won't see my money..
You could maybe program your own signal buttons with the S3XY-Buttons and put them anywhere you want in the car. I'm going to try that out soon myself!
Sounds like a Cylon from Battle Star Galactica.
Haha, it’s K.I.T.T from Knight Rider 😉
I have two questions:
- do you prefer buttons or stalks?
- are you happy with the new white interior? I think it looks a little bit weird because of the small holes for the ventilation so im not sure if i should pick white or black
- After some weeks I prefer buttons
- I love the white interior and would always configure it again
Thanks😊
Same for me, I meanwhile find myself trying to press the buttons in my other car with the stalks…😂
I really like your review. Something i dont understand is why your voice go normal speed than suddently start to go super fast... is that you that do that... is it my internet that dont work properly are maybe you use a clone of your voice... no sure i understand why it happen but it weird.
I think its a voiceover for a video in a different language
Yes, my normal videos are in german and i‘m the voiceover is created by an AI, that‘s why it is sometimes out of sync
If you take off your seatbelt the car will go into park , it's the best feature. I use it all the time in my refreshed M3 LR. I love my car !!! First EV. I love the tech and minimalism. The stalkless design is awesome. I embrace it. After a couple of weeks it becomes second nature and I wouldn't go back. The acceleration is ridiculously fast and it's not even the performance. 😂😂😂
United States
One shouldn’t use weeks to get used to something that never should’ve been removed. No matter which story you spin, being forced to use blinkers upside down in a roundabout is idiotic and not safe. Especially in the dark.
That’s what I said. With FSD blinkers will be obsolete anyway.
@@Robin_EV Tesla FSD is a silly dream. Anyone with a brain understands that Tesla vision won’t work in places where it a snows. The cameras get packed with snow and ice. Tesla vision is a failure and they phantom brake more than ever even in the middle of summer. Tesla FSD is a hoax.
I do not fuckin understand how the hell did the EU approve this turn signal solution ...
I was also wondering but it is working better than I thought.
Ask yourself why is UK allowing some cars ( example Toyota) to indicate left ⬅when you push stalk up ⬆ and other cars ( example BMW) to indicate left ⬅when you push stalk down ⬇. The answer is that it's not about up or down, but it's about clockwise or anticlokwise. Basically you push the stalk in the direction you'll be turning the steering wheel. It's the same for buttons, push the button in the direction you'll be turning the steering wheel. When you get used to it you'll realize that it's not worse and in some instances is even better. ⌚⏰⏱⏲🕰
@@Robin_EV You like it now, but can those flat buttons on the steering wheel handle 70,000 presses over 10 years? Turn signal stalks are very durable and highly refined. Turn signal stalks work *every* time.
@@DerekDavis213 just get the retrofit stalks then ;)
@@DerekDavis213in a Tesla they didn’t. Stalks have been stateless for many years. If I quickly pull down or up on the indicator and let go very quickly, the car sometimes misses my input, no joke. Model 3 2021
Is it somehow problematic to have white interiors? Any colour transfer from trousers hard to remove? Is your car Matt White or the standard pearl one? Thanx
I just heard good feedback from people with white interiors. I have the original standard Tesla white.
@@Robin_EV and what about your feedback ?🤔
White gives lots of glare, on sunny days. Hard on your eyes.
so would you go current model Y or new Model 3. Think I prefer a hatchback and indicator stalks.thanks
You answered the question yourself 😉
@@Robin_EV ahh but was asking what you think 😉
Many people consider the lack of indicator stalks to be a *deal* *breaker* . Unbelievable that Elon would do that, without some polls or focus groups first.
@@DerekDavis213 I test drove a model 3 and Y one after the other and actually I went round about 10 roundabouts in each and I actually once I got to know the model 3 found it easier. It’s right there under your finger so just remember to hit the left (bottom) to turn left off the round about. Rather than reaching for a stalk.
@@johnw65uk Every luxury and sports car worldwide use the turn Signal Stalk. Customers would have it no other way. For many people, if you remove the Stalk, they will not buy the Tesla. It's a deal breaker.
never buying aTesla if this is what I have to deal with
What are the things to deal with that don’t work for you?
🙂
sound is out of sync
Sorry for that. Original is in German and we try our best to make it sound good in English.
It’s not called highland
How is it called then?
@@Robin_EV Tesla just calls it Tesla Model 3. Since you’re a content creator, you can say “refresh” to help people understand what it is you are talking about.
You are right! Good feedback. I will change my wording in the future.
Night Rider
Yes 🙌
Yes wait until u need to use the turn signal while the wheel is turned. Stupid design
Agree, that is strange.

Where did you order the stalks from? 😊
Most boomers can’t get used to the lack of buttons in EVs. Stalkless drive is the way to go.
