I often use a 9 iron but with a putting stroke for this type of shot. Just enough to raise the ball over the fringe grass, and then roll out on the green.
@@CoachLockey I played today in pouring rain. Absolutely teeming down. Just 9 holes on a short track but using these tips I shot 4 over par. Five strokes better than my buddies!
Nice video. We use plastic mats on the course throughout the winter so always have a good lie. Not every ones cup of tea but it works and more enjoyable than soggy lies. The course remains open too when others in the area are shut.

This is exactly what I have needed to see. All of the other films show near perfect lies and I can guarantee I will get that muddy lie 😂😂😂

My practice area at the club is perfect for a mud fest. Oddly I never see anyone else enjoying the fun😅
