Off grid episode 3 is a full on episode. We finially get back into the island where we got the great epic drone series footage from and of course it didnt disappoint. Straight up we seen a massive mob and decide to head in there for a look and use the drone to drive the wild boar towards us. Then I crash the drone and Dan has to retrieve it and has a snake launches at him and the drama just doesn't stop. We have a crazy day filled with laughs and big boars and second day get some more great boars with the hounds Girl who had seen 20 pigs prior to the trip and hulk who's first pig hunt was with us on this series. Awesome guys bloody awesome to watch.
When I was watching ur recovery lol always the way getting stuck.great job getting out.
I thought of a different way use could try which is a great as an anker if u can't reach a solid bit of structure.
Run ur winch out use ur spare tire and a high lift jack did a hole so ur tire is 3/4 in the ground and the jack through the centre of it and dig down a bit so the jack is down the same as the were it goes through then a big D-shackle on the end of the high lift for whinch to pull from.
We have use it a number of times and got us out of some shit spots.
Just an idea guys lol bloody love ya clips guys. Let me no if it would work were ya's are. I no there crocs 🤙🤙🤙 well done guys
Thanks heaps n yeh thats a good idea we were miles from the car and we don't have a spare tyre on the buggy. A land anchor would def be handy to leave on the buggy or not go through the water 😂🤦♀️

Hunters typically say that in New Zealand the most difficult wild animal to hunt is the chamois, a high altitude mountain goat originally from the European Alps. If you hunt chamois you need to be a good climber and rock scrambler. However, having hunted and shot many chamois in New Zealand and having shot all other game animals there over a 25-year period, I am totally convinced that the most difficult wild animal to hunt there is wild pigs, unless you use dogs, which virtually all NZ pig hunters use, otherwise you simply cannot get close enough to pigs to get a shot in. They always spot you as you try to creep up on them, and then they run like small tanks into the scrub and that's the end of that. New Zealand does not have the vast open spaces that Aus has. NZ is comprised of hills, mountains, forest, and scrub, and pig hunting there is a big sport with weekend pig-hunting clubs which all use dogs. Without dogs you will not bag pigs, making pigs the most difficult wild animal to hunt in NZ and certainly the most dangerous, as every now and then a pig hunter will get bowled by a big boar and end up being ripped up and needing lots of stitches. Great videos, folks. Real Aus. heritage and rugged Aus. style.

Do you find there’s an optimum height to fly the drone where you can see pigs but not low enough to spook them? You can get extended landing gear legs to keep it higher above the dust. I have the same one as you, though I’m going to have to find me some of those gold-tip props for added stealth. 👍
Hi mate it all depends on the weather conditions if it’s windy the pigs don’t seam to notice the drone of if there’s heaps of bird life around gold tips are the go 😉

Taipans are really shy of humans and will only attack if cornered or threatened. So its likely picked up vibrations but not the smell and gone to investigate a possible food source and when it's seen you....its sh#t itself as much as you have :) I also am loving the 303 hunting big time. I agree on the snakes mate I rarely see them I have lost a few dogs to snake bite over the years but . I couldn’t find that leera hunting cheers 🍺
