The cubs must have one of the worst defenses at first base this year. Swanson should’ve obviously made that throw, but in previous years the first baseman bails him out 95% of the time. This year it feels like every bad throw from a cubs infielder is almost a guaranteed error.
Cubs manager should not change first baseman constantly. Wisdom is apt to play third, not first base.
I'm missing Bellinger... and Suzuki... and Steele... and Merryweather... and Wicks...

I looked at DJs career numbers. Hes had about 130 total at bats more than an avg major leaguers season. And has 40 Hrs, .218 and .760 ops. Why is he 30 and never gets a chance to be a starter somewhere? By this pace he's a 35 hr guy if he gets the ABs.

They give the Mets credit for an earned run in the first, but one could argue that Assad had Lindor picked off, and but for Wisdom's throwing error, Lindor never would have scored, making all four of the Mets' runs unearned. Either way, the Cubs should have won this game. Their usually reliable defense has been sporadic in the early going -- even Dansby and Nico.
