Wine & Wool is in my top 5 most enjoyable knitting podcasts! I, too, enjoy a good red and all the yarny stuff, but keep both activities separate! I’m amazed at all the projects you ladies have going simultaneously, but so happy you do since it makes your podcasts so inspiring and so much fun to watch. I can live vicariously as I tend to be a monogamous knitter with a very roving eye when it comes to yarns. My stash is pushing me out of my living/knitting room into the yard!!🧶🧶🧶 I’m happy to see Knit Pick yarns being used successfully as they are more economical. I have knitted five Purl Soho blankets and love them all. My favorite yarn of theirs is the baby alpaca….expensive but oh so soft. Knitting is such a fun hobby. Thank you for giving all knitters such a great podcast. Here’s a 🍷to you three fantastic ladies. 🍷🍷🍷🧶🧶🧶
Good Morning Girls, Great to hop onto your new episode this morning and you all gave me a shout out that you like the stitch markers!!!! Glad you can use them and enjoy them as well. So now to start my day off back to knitting and watching your RUclips with latest beautiful knit items. Already looks enticing!!!!!! Thanks again for sharing 🤩 Oh ya, PS i received your nice card thank you!!!!!!
Thanks for another lovely episode ladies! Almost 3k subscribers, congrats! Wowza, an awesome logo, way to go! I will be happy to sew it on my project bag, thanks so much! I love the pattterns and yarn that you’ve chosen to knit the projects! Have fun in Portugal, Tammi & Janet, enjoy your getaway! Happy knitting! ❤❤
I've been watching you girls since your first episode and it's so amazing to see you doing so well! I see every episode the things you tweak and improve on. You're becoming so polished! Look forward to watching you every time!
I am always in awe of all the stunning projects you girls work in, the yarn, the notions and project bags. Another well enjoyed episode and love to see how you interact with each other. I hope you enjoy your vacation and I look forward to meet you at Rhinebeck this year ❤
The wine sounds lovely. I don’t drink anymore but when I did, sadly I couldn’t tolerate red wine as it gave me migraines. On the rare occasion that I tried it, it was often delicious.
Janet, the Alberta Sunshine is such a cute summer tee and a free pattern. After seeing it I printed it out and am going to use some EFA Seacoast Fingering. I have had it a while but had not decided on a pattern. Thank you for the inspiration.
I think a vest is a great knit! I knitted one but I used the wrong sized needle. It came out too small for me lol. My lucky mom inherited it. She wears it almost every day, keeping her core warm and toasty. I'm adding the vest pattern you used to my favourites, Tammi! Looks so good on you and its a versatile garment. I opened my oldest bottle of red wine, a 2003 red, on Mother's Day. Thought about your podcast and poured it a good hour before me, my mom and sister enjoyed it. Thanks for another enjoyable episode. Keep them coming, love it! Cheers!
Colette, Glad you enjoyed the episode and glad you mom is enjoying the vest and she’s lucky she inherited it. I bet your 2003 wine was delicious. Thanks for watching.
I just discoverer your podcast, and I really enjoyed it. (I've gone back and watched two other episodes.) I love seeing all the projects the three of you have selected. I've knitted two Andrea Mowry's Weekenders and several Joji Locatelli patterns. It's great to find out about designers that are new to me AND some yarns that I hope to experience soon. I've been knitting the Crooked River Cardigan by Kay Hopkins while enjoying the podcast. Looking forward to viewing others. Thanks from your newest fan, Janet Taylor
Really full episode today with finishes, tips and dream knitting. I just started the Tolsta Tee and I'm excited the various options. Hope Janet and Tammi have a wonderful trip to Portugal and Spain. We went a few years ago and the heat was something so all things linen are good. Take care.
Oh wow, the Grace Notes pullover by Joji Locatelli is gorgeous. I was wondering if you could comment if you think that the cables are doable for someone who has only made cables one time. Are the cables difficult? Do i need to get one of those crooked cable needles? I only have a straight, wood cable needle which would flip on me. Thank you. 😊
Hello Shannon, boy, that's a good question. These are six by six cables and you have to knit through the back loop. And then when you're on the wrong side, you have to purl through the back loop. You could try doing a swatch with the cable pattern and see how you do. If you think that will be too hard, then maybe try simpler cable patterns until you feel more comfortable. As far as the cable needle, I haven't used a straight needle so I can't tell you what the difference is. I kind of like the crooked one because it will hold your stitches a little better. They are inexpensive you can give it a shot. Thanks for watching.
Hi Ladies, I really love your podcast and your projects but I couldn’t make it through this episode due to the ads🙈 it was like every 4-5 min 🥴 sorry. 😢 is there a way to reduce them ? Thank you for your knitting love 🧶🌸
Hi Petra! Yes. I uploaded it yesterday and had to leave right away. I went back in a short while ago and deleted a bunch of the ads. So sorry. I hope you give us another chance. 😊
All your knits are beautiful as usual 💕. Tammy I'm jealous of your Staple Linen Top! I tried that pattern using a gorgeous linen but I really struggled with the way it was written for some reason so I gave up! Did you have any tips on the pattern? I want to try again. Thanks 😊
Hi Micki. The pattern is rough at the beginning. You only cast on stitches for one shoulder and go right into short rows to shape it before putting it on hold. It makes perfect sense after you do the same thing with the other shoulder, cast on stitches across the back neck, and join the two pieces together. Give it another shot. You can send me private messages on Ravelry if you need guidance. Cheers! 🧶🍷
Claudia, where did you find the needle stoppers that Tammi showed (the spring-loaded ones)? Ooooh, I would be so excited to get your project bag label for my recently-acquired custom Wool and Wine project bag. I'm enjoying using it so much.

Thank you for all the inspiratio and project ideas. Your knits ate lovely and many more now added to my queue.
Hi Lorna! Thanks so much. Cheers! 🧶🍷
Love all your projects. Now I’m going to have to give the cardigan a go too.
I find stitch markers, with the exception of the little round circles, get caught in my knitting row. They are cute but not practical
The stitch markers are cute and sometimes can be impractical but we enjoy them.
Tamara - Saw your Catedral knit featured in EweKnit email. Very nice to see your beautiful sweater featured prominently.
Beautilful knits again ladies!
Thank you so much!
Inspirational as always, the number of my favorites on ravelry is growing
You ladies are amazing, thanks again for all of your sharing.❤

Hi Janet and i'm glad you found us. Thanks for watching!
Ooh! I will be at Rhinebeck this year :)
Aggie, so glad you will be at Rhinebeck and we are looking forward to meeting you! 😊

I got those on etsy. Here's the link...www.etsy.com/shop/KaftyHobby
@@woolandwine Thank you, Claudia. I like that these are universal (up to a point) for various needle sizes.
I enjoy seeing the projects y’all are making. But the amount of ads that are happening is annoying.
Sorry about the ads. I uploaded the episode and had to leave right away. I always go back in and delete a bunch of them but didn’t have time this morning.
I love watching your podcast and the sweaters are lovely, but I am seeing 2 ads every 5- 7 minutes or so. I just couldn’t finish it.
I loved watching you podcast from the first episode but this time 23 mins in and I’ve already sat through 7 sets of advertisements. Can’t do it bye
Maria, sorry there were too many commercials. I didn’t see that many when I watched it. We traditionally remove several before we put out the episode.
