I'm finishing my build of Dragon Models 6830 the 2nd Panther Prototype chassis. Lots of modifiactaions and even more 3d printed parts were needed to finish this kit.

This is my favourite video of yours! I really like how to discussed the history and problems with the original kit without wasting time just assembling the thing. I can follow the instructions if I want to build it myself! Your painting and weathering is also very good; I don't think you see it that way but I really enjoyed watching it :)

i love your chronological take on the tanks, I also have everything planned for my take
starting with the Neubaufahrzeug and the Panzer I Ausf. A but I'm building everything in 1/72 i hope im gonna catch up to the DB 3002 and the Panther MAN Prototype
Thank you. I do find it very interessting to see how that stuff developed. In 1/72 it should be possible to outline the complete panzerwaffe. There is a VK3002 by Amusing Hobby in 1/35, it's not very good unfortunaty and with the very early Tigers I have to design the vehicle myself since nobody makes them aside from Resin Casts. Going chronologicly has a positive side effect: It keeps the whole topic interessting to me.
Sehr interessant wie du das angegangen bist. Zwischendurch war ich etwas skeptisch muss ich zugeben, aber das Ergebnis ist prima! Sieht aus wie ein Fahrzeug, dass auf dem Testgelände ordentlich ausgefahren wurde.
Danke Dir. Hat etwas Überwindung gekostet einfach mal nen richtig schnellen Weg einzuschlagen. Ich hab zuvor etwas Erfahrung mit meinen Warhammer Figuren und sehr graulastigen Farbschema gesammelt. Es geht natürlich deutlich mehr, auch in der gleichen Zeit; Das wird in zukünftigen Projekten rausgearbeitet werden. Mit dem Gesamterscheinungsbild bin ich trotzdem zufrieden, auch die Rückmeldugen waren recht positiv. 500+ Nachrüstteile im Jahr entwerfen und dann nicht dazukommen irgendwas fertig zu bauen macht keinen Sinn. Da ist's mir lieber man schaut meine Modelle vorerst nicht mit der Lupe an. Schaut's aus nem halben Meter Entfernung gut aus, bin ich vorerst wo ich sein will.

I have not purchased a Dragon kit in years because of those issues.
They have strong line-ups like Panzer III/IV/VI, Hetzers and Panthers however don't live up to the expectations.
The one that pushed me over the edge was a Tiger I ausf H2. Hideously over complicated and so much material you were supposed to remove. Eventually the kit ended up just being something I test paints on.
