Thanks! Since COVID, he wants to be with me all the time, even when I build my model kits. I hope you and your family had a good Christmas yesterday. 😃😃
Nice video Collin. Just a small tip: there are primary, secondary en tertiary colours. Instead of adding black or white to make the colour less bright or lighter, add the complementary colour. For green that would be red. Darker green has a orange red complementary colour and light green has a pink red complementary colour. Add in small amounts until you get the effect you’re looking for. Adding black will make the colour greyish and lose its hue, adding white will flatten the colour and make it lose its vibrancy. Primary and secondary: Yellow - purple Blue - orange Red - green Tertiary: Green yellow - violet red Red orange - blue green Violet blue - orange yellow. Just experiment a bit if you like, it might add a new dimension to your modeling skills. PS: when putting fuel stains on a round drum, the fuel will run down both sides, not just one side. Perhaps more on one side where the filling is done from, but still. It also tends to accumulate around the filling cap on to of the drum and run down from there. Looking forward to your next video!
