All you need is the Canadian Jam Knot!
Good tips , thanks for sharing , God bless !
Amazing my dear friend 🥰
How so creative good idea!
Nice, take it the next step, and show how best to attach your backpack.
Ive tried, two tautline hitches at both rope ends, then a couple of butterfly knots to certain attachment points on the pack. Or, do the same with a monkey braid between the tauline hitches to make a shoulder strap. Let me know what you find out?......or suggest some other/better method.
Thanks!
Is there an official name for knot no.3? It looks like it will unravel at any moment but I've tried it and it stays put. Is it even a knot or is it just cleverly applied friction?
2:50 "Simple Self Locking Loop"
Packer's knot will also work well.
Yes. The slipped packers knot is self-tightening and one-tug release.
Also see the Canadian Jam knot
유용해서 아주좋아요
for knot number 3 i would have start with a tied loop so i have to pass only once under the bight
Great
Single best way is the Tree hitch, at one end, then a few half hitches and another Tree hitch to finish at the other end. Also makes a handle.
on knot number 2 if you pass the cord in the bowline loop twice it will autolock under tension no need to secure it !
The "bowline" knot? Looks and does the same thing as the "medal-o-ring" knot, only it substitutes the medal ring.
I’ll keep these knots in mind…. in the event I lose the ball bungee cords I wrap up mine with.
Your tautline hitch appears to have been tied incorrectly. The working end should exit the same direction.
It is essentially a clove hitch with an extra turn on the first crossing. You want the "bar" to cross over as an "x".
I agree, taut line is tied over and under, not under and over
Thank you and SK, I was going mental on that bit for a moment there.
First and second are just variations of attachment points of the uninteresting quick release knot. They don't have a way to be tightened more once knot is secure.
Third one looks more interesting because it is unique and instead provides a way of tightening but needs an additional hitch or knot to be fully secure.
The remaining two are nothing new to me.
I had to turn the sound off. Very annoying.
I agree. I turned volume went all the way down... just repetitive gangsta crap.
Dat muzik tho loading my Glock when I'm learning to tie knots
if you use two rings together or two of those horrible little caribiners you get with water bottles etc and run the cordage through twice you will have an automatic truckers hitch, something i used to do a while back, but i have been using the cow hitch method for a long while to keep my rain coat on my work bag (trucker)
Couldn't stand the music.
why do we need 5 knots to tie up a sleeping bag? why not just use the best of those best 5 ? :D
Best knot is not even here.
@@jakemccoywhich would you say are the best for tying up a sleeping bag or anything that you want to be able to tighten down easily?
Music instead of instruction is not a win. 😞
🖖 👍
stop with the horrible background music.
I had to turn down the sound. So annoying.
Repetitive gangsta rap crap
Number 1 and 2 are shit
