1951 Ford F1: Video #38 -- Situating the bed runners

More progress on the '51 Ford truck bed project. One thing I've learned is that no matter someone's qualifications or status, they can still be wrong! Certainly that's been true for me, but also sometimes for the supposed "experts" out there.
Finished getting the bed runners (cross braces) cleaned up and painted. Also did a lot of research to verify the layout of these runners and nailing down what parts I'm going to need. Having a lot of fun learning and doing!

Looking good... Get you a step bit from the hardware store... This will help a lot.

@cmlloyd1969 I am currently working on my truck bed too. Same style as yours. I just picked up my wood today from a local sawmill. Less than 20 bucks. I really enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your journey.
