One time a jump made me actually scream because when I dropped out of witchspace I actually flew directly through a star, and there happened to be a neutron star just behind it. Absolutely terrifying
That's nothing. A couple of months ago I blasted straight THROUGH one of a binary star pairs, ending up at a full stop immediately BETWEEN them and my ship immediately cooking. I started popping heat sinks and bolted the shortest direction out of both stars' influence.
welcome to the black, commander o7. if you're going the way I think you're going, wait till you get to the one where it's 2 main sequence stars and a neutron star all within the same 100ls area.
Sometimes it sends you straight through a station. I had that before, it actually triggers the stations warning, as in:" U dont have permission to enter, get lost". U know, the msg they play when you enter without requesting clearance to land first. I wonder if one could get a fine that way xD
That cluster of Bright stars - i've visited every one of them - back when Horizons came out....

Yeah the jumping into stars makes me stomach turn EVERY TIME
Now.... try going through a black hole orbiting a neutron star closely. Nightmare fuel.

I got yeeted through a star once upon exit from witchspace x'D
happened to my friend, his ship stopped inside the sun. He survived
Doing those scary and often breathtaking jumps makes you understand why the game has "Dangerous" in its name. 😱

Outer Wilds players: "First time?"
first time seeing a star before a star, yes
@@YZFerus In the context of Outer Wilds, it's crashing into a star. A lot. Sometimes with the help of autopilot.
Try it with a META 3.
wait WHAT this came out 10 years ago????
Is still played by 10s of thousands around the world.
newest update will come near the end of Jan
yep and still kicking
hi from australia. not even this scares us :P
back in the old days i flew throu 2 stars in a multi star system ... that was near heat death ^^
imagine having VR strapped to your face while doing that
XD. What game is this, doesn't look like no man sky
Elite Dangerous
being released back in 2014, one could argue for old man's sky. xD
jokes aside, its a realy nice game.
Nah that's nothing. Wait until you find a very big star :D
The star before the star that that scared me
