Does the thought of cooking Christmas dinner fill you with dread? Does it bring back memories of dry turkey or burnt carrots. If the answer is yes , then don't worry. This DVD will show you how to prepare in advance and how to cook on the day so that you get everything on the table , piping hot, at the same time. You'll find all the Christmas recipes that you need to make a lovely dinner, from my favourite turkey in all it's glory to a selection of veggies with flavoured butters. to the usual favourites like roast potatoes and parsnips.
I watched this video, the whole thing and it’s July. I love watching this man cook.

Do people actually make this much food for just one day? 😅 I suppose it makes sense if they have 20 people over, but it just seems like a ton of food. And so many different courses too.
With the steamed veggies, I'd probably just put the ingredients that Jamie uses to flavour the butters in a bowl with the veggies and some olive oil once the veggies have steamed. Or even muddle them into olive oil and dress the veggies with that. I guess it's the French influence coming out in how much butter Jamie is using in all these dishes.

lol fresh herbs are the same price as dried.
I think it's also great that you use high quality organic (and free-range) ingredients. But I do worry about the amount of aluminum foil, aluminum pots and non-stick pots and pans you use. It is well known how harmful they are for health. Please... it would be better to use cooking stuff made of harmless materials.

He's real life not everyone wants to eat food done so poncy and almost plated with a spirit level like Gordon does with Michelin star food. I will stick with chefs who help the majority of people... THANKS!

Love the old school Jamie but I have to disagree about the dried herbs. As long as you are using them properly they can be delicious. They don’t replace fresh, but they both have different uses!

Non stick equals Teflon, really bad for our health and environment. Aluminium is connected to Alzheimer’s. I have stainless steal roasting tins and love them and cast iron pans which last a life time❤

@@rach5516 😂😂 I don’t know what’s gone wrong with me coz I used to be seriously pedantic about proof reading everything and checking for errors, but now I so often don’t notice an error until someone replies and then I reread what I wrote.
