There are a lot of great songs of his that people seldom react to because they of course opt for the most viewed singles and MV's, which tend to be more hype type tracks.

If you watch iKON, they have RED KONBAT as the lightstick.. Each kpop group has them and the original idea was indeed given by G-Dragon himself. After he enlisted in military for 2 years and he just got discharged few weeks ago

I think checking out Solo stuff by G-Dragon is such a journey because of the sheer diversity of the kinds of music. Bigbang as a group is also fairly diverse experimenting with very unique styles for eg. BAE BAE. But I think most of the truely experimental tracks are reserved for GD solos. Some are honestly, kinda whack. Some very popular ones suggested are often Crooked, Crayon, Who You?, One of A Kind, Coup d'état. Coup d'état is a must check out for the really incredible visuals in the music video. Though crayon and one of a kind are pretty visually interesting too. Personally there's a couple more which are not as popular that I really like too. Without You ft.Rosé. What do you want? (This is a rodeo beat, must listen with lyrics it's kinda funny) Middle-Fingers-UP and Bullshit - both from the same album as Untitled 2014. There's a bit of a story about Untitled 2014, it was never supposed to be released in this album at all. But a day before the release one of G-dragon's bandmates T.O.P was hospitalized in coma. So he changed the title track from bullshit to this. It explains a lot of the emotion of loss that really comes through in the song. Luckily! T.O.P has since completely recovered :)

I believe he wrote this when he and Sandara Park (fellow label mate - 2NE1 - Bigbang's girl group version) broke up. GD confessed that he writes songs based on his personal experiences. This song is in his EP Kwon Jiyong (2017) and the massive world tour (largest by a Korean solo artist - 3rd phase of his evolution as an artist) to promote the album before his enlistment basically left him so exhausted and spent (check out his RUclips Premium special behind-the-scenes for this tour - it was so hearbreaking that I cried!). He said that he wanted to strip his G Dragon persona/alter ego hence his real name on the album. So no elaborate production sets and fierce makeups, only raw Kwon Ji Yong with red as the overall theme.
