Welcome back! And congrats on Suma Cum Laude!! That’s such an amazing accomplishment! I was so close to that but had a couple stingy profs myself lmao 🤣 magna wasn’t too bad tho lmao 🤣 sounds like you’ve been really busy! Keep taking time for yourself and what you enjoy doing and hopefully it’ll all fall into a manageable workload for you:) good luck!
Thank you so much!! I've had a few stingy professors myself, and they drive me insane! Taking half points off assignments almost because they can. It's so frustrating, haha. I'm happy to be back and making videos, though it's kinda weird feeling after this time, haha.
The year is ½ over, sure, but I think that sounds awful to so many of us because we arent ½ done with whatever projects we started. I feel like a high percentage of people trying to get an author career going have medical issues or other things pulling them away from their purpose (writing), but everything can be managed with a positive outlook and talking things out. I think you're doing just fine and found this video insightful. If you're sure you're OK to send a copy of your book over I'd be happy to review it for you!
Thanks for the kind words! I'm working really hard, and knew that I just needed to take a step back for a minute to get some good work done. It's hard to get work done and write, but when I make the time to write it's always so nice. Today I spent three hours writing in-between doing other bits of work and it was so fun to just sit and write my characters being the chaotic beings they are. I'm not sending out physical books (though I do have a giveaway I'm posting about on Friday) but I am happy to send ebooks. What types of books do you typically read though? Do you like reviewing books? =) And sorry for the late reply, I was at my best friends wedding over the weekend and am just starting to get back into working on RUclips again, haha.
@@XannasBooks I'm currently setting aside writing an urban fantasy to beta read a friend's paranormal romance book, but I enjoy short stories (of all kinds) and trying out novels in new genres. I'm re-reading the HP books for the first time in over a decade because I'm a cliché and would say my favorite author right now is Agatha Christie. I'm all over the place but I do like peer reviewing. An ebook is fine, I would enjoy leaving you some notes. I'm not here to be a harsh critic or get free swag 💯 just wanna throw up a positive review on GR to help out.
The HP books are a fun classic for rereading. I never actually finished reading them because I started them in High School, and then got busy with getting ready for college, haha. If you want to message me on Instagram or Discord a good email to send the ebook to, I'd be happy to send you a copy.
I'm sorry that you've been struggling. Sending lots of good energy and I hope June is an easier one for you.
Thank you so much 🥰 I'm working hard and the time I spent to relax has helped greatly. I'm excited!!
