- Cage tour as requested. Three birds: Cozette albino budgie, Mina lineolated parakeet, Oliver pacific parrotlet. Mina and Cozette's cage are the vision L02 in use as a single story and Oliver's cage is a vision M02.

Your birds are so beautiful and the set ups are excellent. I have four linnies and four budgies along with a lovebird, cockatiles, bourkes and others. You seem like a nice bird owner. Oliver reminds me of my senegal, she attacks her toys when I come near her cage, lol

Hi! I can certainly try:). The only issue with that is that I will need someone to hold the camera because I will need both hands. So it might be a littler harder.

Did you take the bottom bars out of the cages? I have a vision cage and it has bars that snap in on the bottom and I wasn't sure if I could remove it or if it was ok to keep in.

Loveofpets It sounds like you have your hands full! I do too, LOL. But I love caring for them. And yes, Oliver is a hoot. I sure love that little guy. It seems to me that Parrotlets are more like larger parrots in their temperament and general behaviors than Linnies or Budgies. The only thing that Linnies do like larger parrots is use their feet (which is pretty darn adorable).
If you don't mind me asking... How do you cover them up at night? Or do you even cover them? Because the rope perches look like they would get in the way
Dominique Mayfield I don't cover my birds at night usually. They are in a separate room, so the lights go out and they go to sleep and wake with the sun in the morning. But I have covered them on occasion even with the rope perches without issue. I just requires a larger cover.

they said if you put too many toys Thr bird cannot have a place to stretch their wings and fly around its also a little confusing
But clearly the bird comes out of the cage a lot to have an entire gym

i'm about to be a proud new parent of a parrotlet and getting down to the wire with what cage to get. it's so stressful! i love the vison cages but afraid of them being too small? but i guess not-some say get the big flight cages so they can fly...some say get others so they can play...i love these that you have. and being in such a small town i don't have access to a place where i can go physically see one in person so shopping on line is my only outlet. this helps tremendously! would you suggest the larger over the medium for my little one? from what i can guess, they have changed the model number to an L12....but i love your setup and how you've expanded to the top of your ceiling...i am so inspired! Thank you!!! Gypsi Bleux is going to be SO spoiled!
Where did you get the flat perch with the cover that comes off?

You seem to like the Vision cages. Are they easy to clean?
hi i have a vision cage for my cockatiel but it looks smaller than yours it is a one story...what are them rough dimentions of your vision one story cage....love the cage setups your birds seem really happy
I have the vision L02s in use as a one story right now. The dimensions are something like 29 w, 17d, and 22h. It would be much higher if I added the second story.

What is the best vision cage size for my budgie? Because my budgie has a huge ( and I mean HUGE!) cage and he is so small in it and were did you get the boing?
The bigger the cage the better. I'd stick with the bigger cage if possible but if you want a vision, the L02 is the biggest with the correct bar spacing.

How does news paper do as bedding? how often do you change it and does it retain the smell?
+madmanmatt52 about a week u can choose to use pet safe shampoo to clean the base of the cage or u may just want to scrub it with water and news papaer does as bedin becuase budgies dont sit on the bottom of thier cage and they will poop on the newpaper after a week u can take the news paparer out and rinse the cage with water without having to not use any bedding and scrub down poo

We got 5 budgies yesterday. 2 breeding couple and 3 babies. We keep them outside in separate cages. We have the breeding couple in a medium size cage and the 3 young ones in a big cage (tall cage). In America, do you call them parakeets? In Australia wa call them budgies. We also got a male king quail and a Canary. They share a cage

Love the cages! I was curious about the stainless steel bucket toy. I have also been searching for that cute little crock you had in the parrotlet cage with no luck! Hopefully I can find one online somewhere Lol .

I am not sure if you are talking about the bucket type or the ceramic one. The ceramic one is a fenix treat cup.

also do u guys know how to well convince your budgies to play with toys? i had my 2 budgies for half a year and one knows how to perch but they literally never touch thier toys i tried swapping toys out but they dont touch them :(
Just try to leave to toys there, your birds need to get used to the toys. Your birds are probably stressed about different toys being there. It also takes time. Good luck.

Hi, I would recommend the HQ Flight cage for 3 birds. I got mine on craigslist for half the price it sells for on amazon. Check out my cage tour on the HQ flight cage.

Thank you. Foraging cups are used for birds to search through to find treats. In the wild, birds would have to look for food in this fashion. It is great because it is very mentally stimulating for pet birds and they get a reward at the end. In mine I put things like timothy hay, crinkle paper, foot toys, plastic bottle caps, straws, q-tips, small pieces of millet, a small sprinkle of seeds, or sunflower seeds, etc.
Oh, wow I never heard about these cups! I must day its quite clever of you to make this foraging cup for them... it shows u love them! I think I will try it out with my "keets". I have subscribed to you, and want to congratulate you on your channel, I find it inspiring and helpful for arranging my keets' cage. Can't wait for your next video ..hugs

Parrotlets are very literally miniature birds with the brains and personality of larger parrots (ie: Amazons, etc.). They're assertive and believe that they're larger than they truly are, which makes them all the more lovable and unique from other parrots.
It is not too full on the inside of the cage do not you think??

Thanks! I got most of their toys from Happy Wings on Etsy. I also got the natural wood flat toys from petco in the small animal section. My favorite places to get bird toys are Happy Wings on Etsy, Parroteelia Bird Toys, drsfosterandsmith, and amazon.

Is that a medium cage?
Pls can you do a budgie taming vidoe becouse i have two bonded male budgie which i got from a avery breeder and I need some tips on how to tame them :)
Does anyone know if these birds are clipped? Is it normal for birds of this size to get clipped?
It is completely normal for birds this size to be clipped! I have three cockatiels (a bit bigger than the birds in this video) and they all get clipped once every three months or so. I clip them as a precaution because they used to be flighted and they got into a few little accidents. If you have flighted birds you have to remember to turn off the fan when they are out, and they can't go outside with out a harness :)

Hi, I think it would barely work for two pet type budgies (not english) and only if the were out of cage at least two hours a day. I prefer a bigger cage for two birds. Have you considered the prevue ir hq flight cage? The L02 could also work for two.
I forgot to mention amazon has the best price on the flight cages and visions. Pm me if you have more questions.

I got the foraging bins at target in the dollar section, but I have also seen them on ebay.
Is that what they are called? I've had a lovebird before but she died in a house fire. I'm finally working my way up to get another and I want it to have a completely decked out cage like Calypso had.
This sounds odd but do you have any experience in teaching parakeets to eat fruit and veg I have a cockatiel I want to give fruit as a healthy treat.
