OOB: Out of Utopia gotta be one of the most nostalgic out of all and personally my favorite. The OOB is not intrinsically difficult but the landscape at the end of the route is breathtaking. It is really a shame that we didn't have the opportunity to explore that city. P.S. interesting video as always :)

My personal best feeling and favorite OOB was the one you showed for getting on top of the colony ships in the cosmodrome. I only recently started playing Titan at the time and I couldn't learn sword or sparrow flying for the life of me, but I love the cosmodrome and I have always wanted to see the are from the top since D1. I love all the aspects of it, seeing the ocean and its coast in the distance, the strange city like sky scrapers in the far far off distance (they were present in D1 too, only visible with a sniper most times!), and exploring the actual mothyards with the planes and research facilities. Froggy you really have actually helped inspire me to continue pursuing my game design hobby in hopes I can make it a career one day. Seeing the OOB areas of this game and many others really gives great insight into how a game is made! I love the content. That's one of my favorite parts of it. You can kinda see the seams, and piece together how certain things work. One of my favorite OOBs froggy has done is the soup can from hall of heroes. I think it’s one of the goofier videos he has made, i like the fact that there’s a little pouka inside of the can. Froggy’s videos have gotten me into doing OOB when i have nothing else to do in D2, i love froggy’s calming voice walking us through his findings in-game, i love his content Ɛ>

My favorite video was when you got to the Override area on the moon... after witch queen had dropped. The fact that area hadn't been removed and was still acessable in game was hilarious! I hope it's still there!

I think my favorite OOB video is when you got into the door at the end of blind well. I'm very impressed by the crazy route you took and how you even managed to figure any of it out is beyond me. I never knew you could use both shattered throne and last wish to get into the blind well door.
The craziest part is how old most of that route was. We had finally come up with a spot that would work when they disabled the Blind Well load from Last Wish, so we couldn't do it until we figured out the return load for Shattered Throne. My favorite video of yours / favorite OOB is the strand diving board. I don't have any friends that play the game anymore (my last friend that played quit all the way back at the end of House of Wolves, right before Taken King launched), so I don't get to try most of the things you post since most of your (recent) videos focus on IRBing which obviously requires multiple people. Getting out of box solo is such a cool experience, especially in the Dreaming City. I go out there at least once every 2 weeks whenever I am bored and just want to sparrow fly around for a while. I usually head over to the Harbinger Seclude church-looking building and use it as my "base" / respawn point while I practice sparrow flying or something.

I think one of my favorite out of bound videos you've done is the kings fall oob where youre able to get to/show the final boss area from early on in the raid. I love how you show the actual scale of the raid and its layout. I also love the spire of the watcher oob video where you show that the final boss area is located in the middle of first jumping section. The other video I remember really liking was the EDZ black armory forge oob because its such a cool area and it doesnt take too much effort to get to. Its a really good oob for people getting into breaking out of bounds. Overall I cant pick just one video cause theres just way too many good ones. Good luck with future content!

I really liked when you got into the Savathun Mirror Dimension, I'm a fairly new subscriber and knew nothing about OOB in Destiny before so I was stunned how the route was long and the differents tricks used to get there. Best one for me was not one video but the series of videos for seraph shield, just loved seeing more and more of it being uncovered with every video, as well as the random seraph towers and different objects scattered around.

I really enjoy all of your videos because your voice is really soothing and you explain what you're doing in a really straightforward way. My favourite OOB is the Trostland Harbinger hole into Maevic Square to race the barrier spawn blocking the path to Hangman's Pass. The path you showcased a few months ago is still very doable! Though it requires eager edge and some sparrow boost spamming to get there now. Despite how mundane it is, Hangman's Pass is one of my favourite areas in D2. I really like the building perched on a cliffside, and I think it's one of the few areas that has such a height disparity between its lowest and highest intended playable space.
Its not even a video but we had a brief interaction about some OOB spot I think during Deep. Felt good to have that conversation. If I had to pick a video though it'd be the VotD exploration video. Such a fun raid to break open

Favorite OOB? Man, that’s tough. I think the one that stood out to me the most was finding out you could get into the Vex Network from the Moon, I think from one of the events from Splicer. That’s stuck in my head for a while now.

My fav OoB video was the VotD IRB because it was the first one I attempted myself and when I finally hit the death to load correctly and realized I had no one to hit the required autorez, you and a friend of yours joined trying to hit it for me, unfortunately I did the route that skipped killing the aspect of savanthun (with the double sparrow breach + swordfly to hit bog 1 and die to respawn in map) and at the time you were experimenting with stasis DSM backtracking to see if you’d be able to get back all the way to the aspect and kill it to trigger first autorez. A very fascinating watch (or should I say spectate) for someone not yet familiar with this tech. Even though you weren’t capable of accomplishing this feat it was wholesome yet confusing to watch you guys try. Plus I got it done on my next attempt using the 2nd autorez instead :)

My favorite OOB type stuff is the silver tree in RoN. I love season of the arrivals and seeing a BIG tree is so cool, and getting so close to it is genuinely awesome IMO.

Galaxy Pools has never been used, although you do pass some old content on the way. It is pretty great visiting old Red War locations, and some of the old intro mission locations they've left in. I think your coolest OOB has to be getting on top of the rocket in the cosmodrome with an IRB. I think there's something really special about getting to see things up close that you normally only see from afar

My fav OOB is the Endless gate back on IO. It was my first oob I found on my own randomly hopping around the vex pyramidy thingy there. Found the slip in and became obsessed with going deeper and a couple hours later i saw the view. It was what started me liking oobing a lot

My personal favorite OOB was the first mission of light fall where you flew past the very quiet (they were not quiet) thrusters on a ship out of box Also, the Rythm jumpscare at 7:30 was crazy, I just never expected it for some reason (Rythm's a clanmate of mine that I've played with a few times, still never expect to see people I recognize in videos online)

I've already pre-ordered final shape, so I don't need to say favourites. I will say however, you have become the hive god of getting into places you shouldn't and breaking free of petty things like map design for my friend group. With some of your guides we have oob'd to places we'd have never been, and I've been... Exploring places I shouldn't in more games than destiny. Like banishing myself to the backrooms in warframe.
My favorite video was the one where you reached Last Wish from patrol. It was really cool to follow the route. Res breaching to get past shuro chi, sparrow flying across morgeth's bridge... Also the way back, where we get a really nice view of the skybox (on top of the door after shuro chi).

It may be cliche, but my favorite OOB video(s?) were all the ones leading to the Galaxy Pools. I've followed a ton of your guides, having oobed everywhere there can be. From when GP was discovered, to when it could be done with infinite grapple on hunter, to the Navigator flying, until finally, with a quantum skimmer a year and a half later, I finally made it. One of the greatest moments in my playtime.

my favorite video which helped me find your channel was probably the Bergusia Forge video where you blocked your spawn with stasis to warp in. I remember going in game immediately after watching to try it myself and was super happy seeing the old place again for myself!

I gotta say my favorite video would have to be the salt mines OOB, that area is just so large behind that shield and it still makes me sad they got rid of adventures, they were just a fun thing to do and hear some lore when bored, and it still confuses me why they have them blocked off but still in the game. A very close second would have to be the queens court, it's just such a amazing looking place AND THE MUSIC! The music is one of my favorite background tracks in the entire game, it's just such a shame it's only ever (to my knowledge) used there when it's not always available to get into the area.

I would say that one of my favorite places would be oob in rivens lair, it is one of the few places I have had a chance to explore myself, and you don't have to worry about death barriers. It is also neat to be able to see how they developed that area.
A shame they patched the most convenient hole. I don't know why they'd bother, especially with a temporary space. Was cool to look around. Big fan of the Vow of the Disciple IRB, the route has some neat tricks and is a nice challenge, and the area you get to explore is one of my favourites!

i dont have a specific OOB video as youve uploaded many of them but my favorite ones have been the dreaming city ones as when the expac came out and i was exploring it there was a few times where i would accidentally semi clip into (the backrooms) aka the ascendant plane which freaked me out but then seeing your videos about how easy it is to just break the dreaming city as a whole and how its all "connected" was/is really cool to me....and i still sometimes get nervous shatterskating in the dreaming city lol

You’ve made so many it’s hard to pick ONE as a favorite and with how beautiful destiny is… So I’ll say it like this the best one that I’ve been able to get to is the neomuna fallback box break irb idk what it’s called I always wished we could go to the actual city and it was such a good spot for pictures The best one I haven’t gotten to yet is obviously galaxy pools but since that’s literally everyone’s favorite id say the quarantine sector id love to reach it but I’m mostly solo and can’t really sparrow fly For galaxy pools the skimmer is best but furthest we got was getting off the skimmer but I haven’t got on in time to teleport Once I do get that I’m thinking I should learn sword flying first and once I hit the load inv my fireteam and switch to hunter or warlock (whatever deserves it most) But I’m still coping and hoping that in final shape we will go to galaxy pools I’d be really sad if we don’t Your not the inspiration for getting oob I actually started doing it after accidently finding spots in Nessus which is my favorite location but recently I’ve been getting back into oob if I recall I accidentally went oob and that plus you have reignited that flame I reached hangman’s pass thanks to you and learned so many tricks to oob So let me give you one I don’t think you know about You made a vid to oob and needed to do arms dealer and other complex stuff including sparrow flying And at one point came across a town There was no solid ground but you eventually found ships that were solid Well just the other day I found that same area with no effort I just went to the spot the arms dealer takes place via patrol and simply grappled over to the gray ship If you turn left you should see those towers just head in that direction Your basically going around the wall And at the edge there is a spot where you can see in good detail a house that looks like it’s from ps2 and enough solid ground to get a good view Probably terrible explanation but I’m surprised there was a city literally right next to one of my favorite strikes And I believe ever since the strike rework this has been achievable So before that you would have to do the complex stuff but now you can just head on over Ofc you did more in that video so you’d still have to do it for those other locations but if you wanna reach just that tiny town well it’s actually as easy as using a grapple (or sword fly or t crash or dawnblade)
Learning sword flying is very freeing. And then sparrow flying after. I've not mastered infinite sparrow flying, but with that there's very little you can't go to. There's only been a few places that's necessary for, and we've got alternatives for most. They removed the box from that Armsdealer zone when they redid the strike. I go through a tiny part of it in one of my grapple flying guides, but it'd be easy to miss. Great vid as always, for the favourite video I'd almost be tempted to say the updated galaxy pools (the skimmer version) video as that actually seems doable for regular OOB explorers to attempt, my favourite has to go to the thunderdome video just for the amount of absurd tech used and the (initially) narrow landing strip that had to be marked with mountaintop. Also the mystery orb outta bounds that even got its own vid

Personally I love the older video where you went and explored the actual dreaming city from the strand diving board I've been out there quite a few times myself although sparrow flying was my preferred method and it prevents the issue of running out of sword like you did in the vid

My favorite video is the originial OOB Galaxy Pools. This was my introduction to OOB areas in D2. I wasnt able to successfully make it into the galaxy pools until you posted the video using the skimmer
Amazing how far it's come. The original trip took like 4 hours to set up, as Mad worked out a good way to get two sparrows on a narrow shelf with one upsidedown, and we detoured to Quarantine Sector where we found worked as a sparrow resummoning checkpoint. Maybe not the most original choice, but my favourite OOB video has to be the World's First Galaxy Pools. The story and the culmination of it all is so fascinating :3 and personally I'm a very big fan of behind-the-scenes game development, I think unused and/or scrapped areas are so interesting and cool :3

My favorite OOB video has to be galaxy pools just because of how much went into finding it. My favorite OOB to do is the Deep Stone Crypt clarity control from patrol just because of how beautiful it is.

i really enjoyed the public out of box EDZ exploration video you made a couple years back. seeing that ship from the public event up close was really cool and completely unexpected. that or the one in prophecy where you explore the far end of the ribbons strung throughout the map, i loved that one. it was quite the challenge with all of the culling going on and quite entertaining to watch as a result. i've already preordered TFS myself so if this comment gets randomly picked, please give it to someone else! i just felt like sharing regardless.

Personally my favorite was your Unused Tomb Ship and Portico box break video. I’ve been obsessed with the Portico area for a while now and seeing people get out of bounds there is always a delight. Especially since in D1 there was a duplicate tomb ship area with a makeshift Halo MAC gun hidden out of bounds. To this day I always wonder if that gun is still out there.

My favourite one has to be the Galaxy Pools - Skimmer Edition as it allowed mere mortals like me to actually try it. It was one of the coolest things I've ever done in the game, and I had a ball having my friend observe for me on my way there.

My favorite videos were back when Dsc came out and just exploring all of that out of map area in the raid and then the strategies that came from finding all those holes. All time fav has to be reaching the shard of the traveler in the dark forest. That one really sent me down the oobing rabbithole and finally getting tcrash on the stick of pain was such a big victory.
I sometimes think about if I should do an update for that one, but it's such a small change. You can sword fly direct if you climb up high before the final flight, since you can regain height with sword flying. I didn't quite understand that when I initially made the video. I think my favorite oob video so far has been the old shard of the traveler (the dark forest) one! The shard of the traveler is one of the places I'm really sad it's difficult to take my new light friends to because it's so cool over there, and there's a lot of cool sights to see on the way. Also getting grabbed by the funnels seems fun to be able to just look around rather than focus on movement Here's hoping there's some exciting oobs in the traveler itself!

OOB: Out of Utopia gotta be one of the most nostalgic out of all and personally my favorite.
The OOB is not intrinsically difficult but the landscape at the end of the route is breathtaking.
It is really a shame that we didn't have the opportunity to explore that city.

My personal best feeling and favorite OOB was the one you showed for getting on top of the colony ships in the cosmodrome. I only recently started playing Titan at the time and I couldn't learn sword or sparrow flying for the life of me, but I love the cosmodrome and I have always wanted to see the are from the top since D1. I love all the aspects of it, seeing the ocean and its coast in the distance, the strange city like sky scrapers in the far far off distance (they were present in D1 too, only visible with a sniper most times!), and exploring the actual mothyards with the planes and research facilities.
Froggy you really have actually helped inspire me to continue pursuing my game design hobby in hopes I can make it a career one day. Seeing the OOB areas of this game and many others really gives great insight into how a game is made! I love the content. Im very excited to see what the Pale Heart OOB areas bring with a mix of new and old spaces of D1 and D2 mixed in.

That's one of my favorite parts of it. You can kinda see the seams, and piece together how certain things work. Like seeing outside of Halphus Electus to see the various effects that make it feel like the land tank is moving.

One of my favorite OOBs froggy has done is the soup can from hall of heroes. I think it’s one of the goofier videos he has made, i like the fact that there’s a little pouka inside of the can.

Sadly it's mostly gone. There's still the funnel, and I believe the large purple regions still exist, but they're empty. At least we have the new splicer sort of areas on Neomuna.

I think my favorite OOB video is when you got into the door at the end of blind well. I'm very impressed by the crazy route you took and how you even managed to figure any of it out is beyond me. I never knew you could use both shattered throne and last wish to get into the blind well door.
The craziest part is how old most of that route was. We had finally come up with a spot that would work when they disabled the Blind Well load from Last Wish, so we couldn't do it until we figured out the return load for Shattered Throne.

I don't have any friends that play the game anymore (my last friend that played quit all the way back at the end of House of Wolves, right before Taken King launched), so I don't get to try most of the things you post since most of your (recent) videos focus on IRBing which obviously requires multiple people. Getting out of box solo is such a cool experience, especially in the Dreaming City. I go out there at least once every 2 weeks whenever I am bored and just want to sparrow fly around for a while. I usually head over to the Harbinger Seclude church-looking building and use it as my "base" / respawn point while I practice sparrow flying or something.
A lot of the current stuff sadly requires multiple people. It does feel pretty special when we get places with solo box breaks, like Spire of the Watcher, and Arrivals.

I think one of my favorite out of bound videos you've done is the kings fall oob where youre able to get to/show the final boss area from early on in the raid. I love how you show the actual scale of the raid and its layout. I also love the spire of the watcher oob video where you show that the final boss area is located in the middle of first jumping section. The other video I remember really liking was the EDZ black armory forge oob because its such a cool area and it doesnt take too much effort to get to. Its a really good oob for people getting into breaking out of bounds. Overall I cant pick just one video cause theres just way too many good ones. Good luck with future content!

I really liked when you got into the Savathun Mirror Dimension, I'm a fairly new subscriber and knew nothing about OOB in Destiny before so I was stunned how the route was long and the differents tricks used to get there. Savathun is one of my favorite characters so I love learning new stuff about her and her environment and how to access these areas to explore freely without having to fight :D

The tunnels oob to the old payback mission is my favorite, that was the first one I followed and showed me how much of the game I had yet to explore!

Best one for me was not one video but the series of videos for seraph shield, just loved seeing more and more of it being uncovered with every video, as well as the random seraph towers and different objects scattered around.
A shame we lost the Moon/EDZ/Io bunkers. But they sorta live on in Seraph Shield. Getting all the way to the dog room early was quite the adventure. It was well hidden, but not quite well hidden enough ;)

I really enjoy all of your videos because your voice is really soothing and you explain what you're doing in a really straightforward way. My favorite though is the new method for getting to Galaxy Pools. I've never gone there and probably won't ever go, even though it's such a cool area, I seeing the progression of new ways to get there.

My favourite OOB is the Trostland Harbinger hole into Maevic Square to race the barrier spawn blocking the path to Hangman's Pass. The path you showcased a few months ago is still very doable! Though it requires eager edge and some sparrow boost spamming to get there now. Despite how mundane it is, Hangman's Pass is one of my favourite areas in D2. I really like the building perched on a cliffside, and I think it's one of the few areas that has such a height disparity between its lowest and highest intended playable space.

Favorite OOB? Man, that’s tough.
I think the one that stood out to me the most was finding out you could get into the Vex Network from the Moon, I think from one of the events from Splicer. That’s stuck in my head for a while now.
That was a fun one. A shame it's gone now, although the funnel and purple areas still exist. At least we have splicer sort of areas in Neomuna.

I love the fallback on Neomuna when you fly in at Strider's gate, It's fun to run around out there and explore.

My fav OoB video was the VotD IRB because it was the first one I attempted myself and when I finally hit the death to load correctly and realized I had no one to hit the required autorez, you and a friend of yours joined trying to hit it for me, unfortunately I did the route that skipped killing the aspect of savanthun (with the double sparrow breach + swordfly to hit bog 1 and die to respawn in map) and at the time you were experimenting with stasis DSM backtracking to see if you’d be able to get back all the way to the aspect and kill it to trigger first autorez. A very fascinating watch (or should I say spectate) for someone not yet familiar with this tech. Even though you weren’t capable of accomplishing this feat it was wholesome yet confusing to watch you guys try. Plus I got it done on my next attempt using the 2nd autorez instead :)

My favorite OOB type stuff is the silver tree in RoN. I love season of the arrivals and seeing a BIG tree is so cool, and getting so close to it is genuinely awesome IMO.

The video you did on the thunder dome has to be my favorite that run and setup looked like an absolute nightmare until you realized you were insanely precise when you didnt need to be at all lmao. Regardless, the end result was very cool

Glad you guys had fun with it. I'm pretty happy with where we've gotten that route. I can't imagine it getting much simpler. Even if you didn't need to break out of box for it, the Quantum Skimmer route would probably still be easier than that labyrinth of push and kill barriers you sword fly through to reach the base of the tractor beam to Galaxy Pools .

My favourite oob video was the Galaxy pools i am a new player and never got to see those places and realised these out of bounds could make me see those places and now with new tech and learning oob from ur videos makes it my favourite video
Galaxy Pools has never been used, although you do pass some old content on the way. It is pretty great visiting old Red War locations, and some of the old intro mission locations they've left in. I check periodically to see if they're still in game.

I think your coolest OOB has to be getting on top of the rocket in the cosmodrome with an IRB. I think there's something really special about getting to see things up close that you normally only see from afar
That's one of the cool things from exploring in Halo back in the day. You could reach basically anything you could see. Had some fun walking on distant mountains in those games XD

My favorite OOB video of yours is maybe the dark forest one, took me a lot of time to reach the shard, it was my first experience with oob in this game and now I always watch your videos and wait for some new places to visit, oob became one of my favorite thing to do in destiny ! My fav OOB is the Endless gate back on IO.
It was my first oob I found on my own randomly hopping around the vex pyramidy thingy there. Found the slip in and became obsessed with going deeper and a couple hours later i saw the view. It was what started me liking oobing a lot
I miss the old Endless Gate. I suppose the new one too, since Io is mostly vaulted. I spent so much time traversing the underside of the zone with the pyramiddion entrance.

My personal favorite OOB was the first mission of light fall where you flew past the very quiet (they were not quiet) thrusters on a ship out of box
Also, the Rythm jumpscare at 7:30 was crazy, I just never expected it for some reason (Rythm's a clanmate of mine that I've played with a few times, still never expect to see people I recognize in videos online)

My favorite OOB was definitely the original Galaxy Pools video. It was amazing to see all the hard work come together and really ignited my interest in OOBing.

My favorite video was the one where you reached Last Wish from patrol. It was really cool to follow the route. Res breaching to get past shuro chi, sparrow flying across morgeth's bridge... Also the way back, where we get a really nice view of the skybox (on top of the door after shuro chi).

It may be cliche, but my favorite OOB video(s?) were all the ones leading to the Galaxy Pools. I've followed a ton of your guides, having oobed everywhere there can be. From when GP was discovered, to when it could be done with infinite grapple on hunter, to the Navigator flying, until finally, with a quantum skimmer a year and a half later, I finally made it. One of the greatest moments in my playtime.
Glad you could have that experience. It's amazing how far that route has come. It's hard to imagine it getting easier, but if we can extend wrong load tech, maybe the route can still get weirder ;)

My favorite is the OG Galaxy Pools honestly. It was one of the videos that made me start watching as many OOB videos from you and others as I could find lol .
The route has come so far since then. From the hub transfer setup for the syncbox, to the current skimmer method which makes it far easier, at least if you aren't locked to 30fps ;)

my favorite video which helped me find your channel was probably the Bergusia Forge video where you blocked your spawn with stasis to warp in. I remember going in game immediately after watching to try it myself and was super happy seeing the old place again for myself!
That led to so much fun stuff. Fallbacks are rather strange. Sometimes they're very useful.

I gotta say my favorite video would have to be the salt mines OOB, that area is just so large behind that shield and it still makes me sad they got rid of adventures, they were just a fun thing to do and hear some lore when bored, and it still confuses me why they have them blocked off but still in the game.
A very close second would have to be the queens court, it's just such a amazing looking place AND THE MUSIC! The music is one of my favorite background tracks in the entire game, it's just such a shame it's only ever (to my knowledge) used there when it's not always available to get into the area.
That's a big motivator for locations for me. There's so much of the game blocked off, or for one time use, especially with Adventures gone. Shattered throne used to be only week 3 also.

I would say that one of my favorite places would be oob in rivens lair, it is one of the few places I have had a chance to explore myself, and you don't have to worry about death barriers. It is also neat to be able to see how they developed that area.
A shame they patched the most convenient hole. I don't know why they'd bother, especially with a temporary space. Was cool to look around. I'm a bit sad I never saw trap storage active, but I don't know if it's ever visible there...

Big fan of the Vow of the Disciple IRB, the route has some neat tricks and is a nice challenge, and the area you get to explore is one of my favourites!
That's definitely a fun raid to explore. A shame they disabled the loadzone for regular patrol spaces, or we could've used IRBs all over Throne World.

Favourite video is the Quarantine Sector unused load bit. Shame Blackened Forest is no more, but that was some of the spookiest content in Vanilla and I always wished we could return.
I spent quite some time hoping to find the initial hole in the wall you go through when going to Blackened Forest. Sadly I don't think it's accessible at all anymore. Just Dark Forest and that one version of Quarantine Sector.

i dont have a specific OOB video as youve uploaded many of them but my favorite ones have been the dreaming city ones as when the expac came out and i was exploring it there was a few times where i would accidentally semi clip into (the backrooms) aka the ascendant plane which freaked me out but then seeing your videos about how easy it is to just break the dreaming city as a whole and how its all "connected" was/is really cool to me....and i still sometimes get nervous shatterskating in the dreaming city lol

So I’ll say it like this the best one that I’ve been able to get to is the neomuna fallback box break irb idk what it’s called

The best one I haven’t gotten to yet is obviously galaxy pools but since that’s literally everyone’s favorite id say the quarantine sector id love to reach it but I’m mostly solo and can’t really sparrow fly
For galaxy pools the skimmer is best but furthest we got was getting off the skimmer but I haven’t got on in time to teleport
Once I do get that I’m thinking I should learn sword flying first and once I hit the load inv my fireteam and switch to hunter or warlock (whatever deserves it most)
But I’m still coping and hoping that in final shape we will go to galaxy pools

Your not the inspiration for getting oob I actually started doing it after accidently finding spots in Nessus which is my favorite location but recently I’ve been getting back into oob if I recall I accidentally went oob and that plus you have reignited that flame
I reached hangman’s pass thanks to you and learned so many tricks to oob
So let me give you one I don’t think you know about
You made a vid to oob and needed to do arms dealer and other complex stuff including sparrow flying
And at one point came across a town
There was no solid ground but you eventually found ships that were solid
Well just the other day I found that same area with no effort
I just went to the spot the arms dealer takes place via patrol and simply grappled over to the gray ship
If you turn left you should see those towers just head in that direction
Your basically going around the wall
And at the edge there is a spot where you can see in good detail a house that looks like it’s from ps2 and enough solid ground to get a good view
Probably terrible explanation but I’m surprised there was a city literally right next to one of my favorite strikes
And I believe ever since the strike rework this has been achievable
So before that you would have to do the complex stuff but now you can just head on over
Ofc you did more in that video so you’d still have to do it for those other locations but if you wanna reach just that tiny town well it’s actually as easy as using a grapple (or sword fly or t crash or dawnblade)
Learning sword flying is very freeing. And then sparrow flying after. I've not mastered infinite sparrow flying, but with that there's very little you can't go to. There's only been a few places that's necessary for, and we've got alternatives for most.
They removed the box from that Armsdealer zone when they redid the strike. I go through a tiny part of it in one of my grapple flying guides, but it'd be easy to miss. I do miss the old strike, especially since it had the only usable EDZ autorez :/

Great vid as always, for the favourite video I'd almost be tempted to say the updated galaxy pools (the skimmer version) video as that actually seems doable for regular OOB explorers to attempt, my favourite has to go to the thunderdome video just for the amount of absurd tech used and the (initially) narrow landing strip that had to be marked with mountaintop. Also the mystery orb outta bounds that even got its own vid

Personally I love the older video where you went and explored the actual dreaming city from the strand diving board I've been out there quite a few times myself although sparrow flying was my preferred method and it prevents the issue of running out of sword like you did in the vid
Yeah, it was great returning there once I could sparrow fly. So much more to see. I think we didn't even have 70 ammo back then. I forget when they upped it...

My favorite video is the originial OOB Galaxy Pools. This was my introduction to OOB areas in D2. I wasnt able to successfully make it into the galaxy pools until you posted the video using the skimmer
Amazing how far it's come. The original trip took like 4 hours to set up, as Mad worked out a good way to get two sparrows on a narrow shelf with one upsidedown, and we detoured to Quarantine Sector where we found worked as a sparrow resummoning checkpoint.
These days you can get there in like 5 minutes with no sparrow trickery, if you go fast XD

Maybe not the most original choice, but my favourite OOB video has to be the World's First Galaxy Pools. The story and the culmination of it all is so fascinating :3 and personally I'm a very big fan of behind-the-scenes game development, I think unused and/or scrapped areas are so interesting and cool :3

My favorite OOB would be the access to the dark forest and the galaxy pools. It has always been so interesting of an area and could show the potential for more secrets if Bungie really wanted to.

Well of Flame is one of my favorite spots to just jump around. I think they may've patched the hole I normally used for it, but they also opened the shield wall, so I guess it balances out.

i really enjoyed the public out of box EDZ exploration video you made a couple years back. seeing that ship from the public event up close was really cool and completely unexpected. that or the one in prophecy where you explore the far end of the ribbons strung throughout the map, i loved that one. it was quite the challenge with all of the culling going on and quite entertaining to watch as a result.

Personally my favorite was your Unused Tomb Ship and Portico box break video. I’ve been obsessed with the Portico area for a while now and seeing people get out of bounds there is always a delight. Especially since in D1 there was a duplicate tomb ship area with a makeshift Halo MAC gun hidden out of bounds. To this day I always wonder if that gun is still out there.
Would've been nice to see that, but sadly it's not around in the D2 version. At least we've got that magical orb of wonders.

My favorite videos were back when Dsc came out and just exploring all of that out of map area in the raid and then the strategies that came from finding all those holes. Always made third encounter fun to just be able to leave the map lol. Also pretty fun with all the different glitches that got found to complete the first two encounters by oobing
That was fun to explore. A shame the people in charge of that seem to hate OOB so much. They've patched so many holes. We can still get around, of course, but it's more work.

Iron forest by far, I did several hours of exploring from there and found some really cool areas out of bounds that you would NEVER see.
That area is pretty neat. Plus you can fly around a lot of the other Nessus sights. Feels so strange running into fully textured stuff out of box that far.

All time fav has to be reaching the shard of the traveler in the dark forest. That one really sent me down the oobing rabbithole and finally getting tcrash on the stick of pain was such a big victory.
I sometimes think about if I should do an update for that one, but it's such a small change. You can sword fly direct if you climb up high before the final flight, since you can regain height with sword flying. I didn't quite understand that when I initially made the video. Although nowadays with grapple it's sort of a moot point XD

I think my favorite oob video so far has been the old shard of the traveler (the dark forest) one! The shard of the traveler is one of the places I'm really sad it's difficult to take my new light friends to because it's so cool over there, and there's a lot of cool sights to see on the way. Also getting grabbed by the funnels seems fun to be able to just look around rather than focus on movement
Here's hoping there's some exciting oobs in the traveler itself!
Yeah, that one is tricky, especially for non titans. We've generally just IRBed Hunters out after getting one person there.

MY FAVORITE OOB IS GALAXY POOLS SKIMMER EDITION!!!!!!!! I am always so baffled by the things you find and utilize. You've shown me this game is truly not as it seems xD I tried it with my friends and we could all not stop laughing LMAO
It's always fun to see kinda behind the scenes. You get a sense of how they put the maps together, with various pieces and terrain around.

favorite oob videos were the pre Raid Launch DSC OOB or the strand showcase in dreaming city where u traveled around the city and climbed the tower

My favorite oob would be the season of splicer override area at moon back in witch queen, that was fun place to explore and mess around in.
A shame they removed most of it. You can still find the purple boxes and funnel for it at least...

a new sword flying guide sounds awesome, can't wait! :D my favorite vid of yours that i've enjoyed (that got me into doing my own OOB tricks) was definitely the salt mines clip you did. i was so enamored by the sparrow clip in the back corner straight into the red war campaign that i replicated it myself and it only got more fun from there ^_^
Glad you're enjoying it. Dismount breaches are pretty magical. They just, like, work. Normal sparrow breaches can be such a struggle.
