got what i think may be an old rusted on shaft that is impossible. heated well over breaking glue bond temp, and pulled with club locked in vice with all my strength to no avail. This looks like a winner for rusted tight.
Thanks mate I'm gonna make this when my parts arrive.. do you recommend having the gap between the base plate of the puller and the runners or would a tighter fit be more beneficial? I was also thinking of linning the runner with a bit of 2mm teflon glued down

Looks good, I just don't have a welder or the angle iron to do this. Seems just easier to buy an inexpensive shaft extractor.

Jason Seal A small gap throughout travel works fine. A bit of greese would work better than Teflon although neither is required.
