This solves a lot of problems. Expecting credence for your work, the inflation of self, the detachment from the one being helped, the projection onto the other of what they aught to be as one being helped, no longer pitying them, no longer doing it for credit. You're just doing as you're doing.
! Reducing the entropie, become love. (tc)
We at the channel love this comment - so true!
Religion is basically based on getting a return for your goodness. I always say why not just be good without expecting anything in return. No heaven, no sitting next to Jesus. But people can't comprehend
I have learned this by playing music at assisted living homes. I just see God when I look at them. This has taken a while, but it has come to be a beautiful tool for me to get this understanding. ❤ He is a rare teacher to cover this kind of topic.
So lovely to hear you share, we at the channel rejoice in your comment! Ram Dass loved music very much and recognized its transcendent nature throughout his life!
One of the greatest lessons I learned from Ram Dass and life is that you are never the role, nor the object, but the constant act of doing or being. Such as a tree is not a tree, it is just busy BEING a tree. The being part is quintessential to understanding the nature of all things
As Christ has pushed me , I have listened and gained much love and insight from my brother Ram Dass and others. The beautiful ways others show ways of doing something helps me to be better in a worldly way from others. It has been a blessing and amazing journey, thank you brother Ram Dass. Your teaching have saved my life. 🙏
So beautifully said .. just focus on the help .. ignore the helper or the outcome
Admin here (now) - he really says it so simply and so well!
Don't ignore the helper, go see if it exist.
Interesting detail from Baghavad Gita.
This is why I like the phrase “acts of service.”
Like Arjuna in the BG, or even (I would argue) JC on the cross; you do what has to be done because you do what has to be done.
Yeah,well put!!!!!
WE OFTEN DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE AND WHO WE SERVE...
UPLIFTING PERSONALITY IS TREMENDOUSLY SERVING..
SMILING AND BEING POSITIVE IS CONTAGIOUS ❤❤❤
Here in Ethiopia, who is in need of "help" is called Yene-bitae, roughly translated as " My kind ". I guess it sums up the message
We at the channel love this beautiful message
This is very true.. I started working as a caregiver for a young man with cerebral palsy, he was chair bound so I bathed, fed, cooked, washed, drove, did all of it.. but it didn’t really start changing me until I moved in with him..see I worked during the day and then he had a night aid.. but sometimes they wouldn’t show up and I started taking care of him off the clock at night.. and in turn he didn’t charge me to live in his spare room..
it stripped of us our titles and we were merely 2 people/souls helping each other living in perfect symbiosis. It was then I started to understand. Same with my nana now, we have the same arrangement and it’s a beautiful thing.
Admin here (now) - amazing comment - thank you for sharing!
This is really beautiful. I’m actually jealous
Such an interesting comment. ‘The help, not the helper.’
For some reason this reminds me of Lao Tzu’s “Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished”
I don’t consciously breath and yet there is breathing. 🤷🏻♂️🙏☯️
Admin here (now) - LOVE that comment, thank you!
Love this ❤
Wow!!!!!!!!!!
I so much like this man.
When you help anything in any situation, it's the first urge to help that is the voice of the "Thing" that is behind all awareness. The unwatched watcher. The thing that cannot be aware of itself, except through being aware of others.
Every thought that comes inmediately after the urge is made up drama.
Why should I help? Who should I help? How much should I do?, etc. All clouds that come and go-from and to- "who knows where".
The clear sky is always, just there. The help was given. The help was received

What if you help someone out of goodness but they treat you bad in return? Probably not help anymore but I feel wronged to some extent considering I DID show them love and help
dont be attached to the outcome or the emotion. observe that there was an outcome in this case a negative reaction from the person you helped. That interaction evoked an emotion on your part but the emotion is NOT you, if it was you, then you would be that emotion all the time(read that again). so observe as the emotion fades away. I'm sure you are not feeling wronged at this very moment. if that is the truth then the emotion from the past is just a signpost informing you that someone or some occurrence has crossed some boundary of yours (unique to you) and take it as a lesson for future interactions if you want to. I hope this was helpful (is that irony as the short is about helping others?)
The service is your love in use.
Well said from both, just wanted to add: as you help, apart from don’t identify with the action nor the outcome remember not to come out of it as the good person who helped that is where ego attaches itself and requires something in return. One hand washed the other, it does not say thank you. One hand gets washed by the other doesn’t feel broken nor handicapped.
What flashed on thescreen?
Im just the help...😢
Let's not forget Ram awakened using LSD firstly
