- I discuss the pain pathway/physiology under the following headings
1. Definition of pain
2. Types of pain
3. Types of pain fibers
4. Types of pain pathways - course & termination
5. Pain suppression system/ Analgesia system
Clear cut explanation.hatsoff to ur effort for making the concept crystal clear 🙏🙏
Thank you sir
Thanks a lot chaitra appreciation matters a lot. 🙂
literally the only youtube channel with concised yet clear concept explanation in physiology, thank you sir
Awww tq spandana
I have watched 20 videos on physiology of pain and this is far the best one! So clear
Thanks a lot 🙏
how dumb are you?
Sir I cannot really express my gratitude towards you by this comment but the way you teach and crisp content with proper slides I wish I had found your channel before. Highly underrated and much better content than the other famous RUclipsrs. Thank you!!!!

You explained really good along with gyton...thank you sir
One of the best lectures on youtube in such a short time.wow
So far the best lecture on pain physiology
Thanks a lot 🙏
Sir ur explanation is just awesome 👌 plz do make videos on ascending and descending tracts
I have attended so many lec of pain...but this was the bestesttttt one ....in vary short time ❤thank u so much sir
Thank you sir ❤️ You explaination is just so crystal clear and amazing
TQ bindu
Sir ur teaching and ur notes are awesome every topic I learnt from your videos , I hope you do more videos of all topics of each chapter
Thank you so much,i got distinction in physiology by watching your vedios , they are very clear, Thank you so much sir ❤
Very nice explanation very clear very simple way of teaching thank u sir

From Kerala❤
Thank you for this. The explanation was crystal clear and easy to grasp. Subscribed!
Thanks a lot
Your teaching is literally amazing sir….i used to feel there is soo much to read in physio and used to feel difficulty but not its different…..please continue teaching sir our support will be there and please do a class on regulation of muscle tone ch no 149 in gkpal sir
Tmrw is my ppt presentation on pain pathway and ur explanation is too good doctor , TQ Dr., Bow🛐.....
Thank you!
And more CNS videos
@7:08 Sir U told A delta fibres occupy medial position of anterolateral Pathway..
But @9:29 Neospinothalamic carrying Fast pain is Located Laterally??
You the best sir
Much more respect to you
Thanks a lot riddhi 🙏
explained so well
Thank you Sir, It was easy to grasp the concepts 😊 Jai Shree krishna
Thanks a lot venketesh. Jai shree krishna 🙏

Happy friend ship day raghu, proud of u to be you're batchmates in ug 🙏🇮🇳
Thanks a lot Kishore. 😊
Thank you sir 🌟
Sir 7:00 its said that A delta occupy medial side
Later in next slide Adelta is in lateral side ..can u make it clear
It's actually medial side only...for the simplicity of diagram, it's put up on lateral, just to show clearly the course ....thanks a lot for pointing it out. The first diagram is from guyton.
Thank you so much for this 🤩🥰🥰🥰
Thank a lot sir🙏
Thank u sir thank u soo much I've understood it very well alhamdulillah
Thanks a lot syeda.

THANKS SIR❤
Sir please make more videos. U teach in a very simple manner. Easy to understand. Blessed to found your channel 🙏🙏
TQ ...sure more is coming
A delta fibers... previously u said it occupies the medial side (7.10) but the diagram depicts it on the lateral side... I verified gk pal..even there it is the same diagram???????
It's medial itself. The first diagram is from Guyton. 2 nd i took for ease of explanation...it's from GK pal. Apologies for the confusion.
The image at 7:06 is bit confusing, the fibres actually go into anterior horn on the opposite side but the picture shows it as it's going in dorsal horn :)
Thank u so much sir ❤ very good explanation 👏🏻
TQ kaleswari
to start with
Ad fibres were medial
and C were lateral in the spinal cord , then at what point does the arrangement change ? as in the next diagram the arrangemnt is reversed .
Amazing🤩🤩
Thanks a lot
Sir u r amazingggggg🔥❤
Thanks a lot
Sir your explanation is amazing🤩 🔥
Thanks a lot.
Thank you very much sir🙏🏻
Thankyou sir 👍
The best❤
Thank you so muchh sir 🥺🥺🥺
Sir, second order of neospinothalamic fibers occupy the lateral spinothalamic tract
Hi Gowtham, anterolateral means anterior and lateral spinothalamic tract. Guyton 12th edition page 585 " cross immediately to the opposite side of cord and then pass to brain in the anterolateral columns"
Great explanation sir ❤️
Tq Aryan
Sir please do more videos on CNS
Thanksforthe narrative Dr raghu
❤
👍👍👍👍
Thank you soo much Sir❤💯❤❤💯
Sir can you please make a video on endogenous opioid system please
Thank you sir
Sir, can you make videos on Sleep and Memory too for upcoming university exams
Awesome 😍
Neo spinothalamic will be in medial or lateral
Neo fibres r medial. Next diagram is just for representation of course.
Crystal clear 🔥
Thank you akanksha
sir, the gk pal content says "paleo is more medially placed" but u said it's lateral?
My reference is guyton, But unfortunately my 2nd diagram is from GK PAL.
Sir can u plz make a video on reflexes nd muscle spindle
Sure...by next week.
Sir one doubt, in first diagram fibres entering the spinal cord through dorsal horn amd leaving through opposite side dorsal horn but in second diagram fibres entering through dorsal horn and leaving through ventral horn ,can you pls make it clear sir.
Fibers cross over to opposite site and lie in lateral white funiculus. They join the lateral spinothalamic tract....they have to cross the grey matter ...and lie in lateral white funiculus. And then ascend upwards in lateral white funiculus. That's y these are referred to as lateral spinothalamic tracts .
@@Dr.Raghu-simplified_classes thank you sir 🙏
And another qs where u get this picture ??
Sir can u pls tell from which Books u r referring
Guyton, ganong GK pal
@@Dr.Raghu-simplified_classes ok sir. Thank u😊
Sir, isn't referred pain an important topic
Yess it's a short note and it's important
👏👏
Figure shows anterolateral pathway in dorsal position of spinal cord. 7 minutes 37 seconds
Hi thank you for pointing it. That's the diagram from a respected book "Guyton" It's to understand the level of termination of first order neurons and relationship of slow and fast fibers. I know once the fibers sweep to opposite side they should lie in anterior and lateral white funiculus. 😊
I think they corrected it in Guyton 14th.Thank u.
Reference??
Sir do more videos
Topics ???
Ur reference book sir?
Ganong and guyton.
🙌
👍
🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 just thank you
Thank you sir😊
