I Wouldn't Have Had THIS Problem in India | The Reality of Riding in Scotland | NC 500 | Part 3

- On my last day of riding on the iconic North Coast 500, I travelled from Alachnaharra to the famous Bealach Na Ba Pass via Ullapool and Applecross. It was a stunningly beautiful route on an unusually bright and sunny day for October. But there was one thing that I was not prepared for on this Sunday in the Scottish Highlands. Watch the video to know more.

Usually when you wish to see a Motovlog, its the Rush, Speed, Destination etc that is shown by most vloggers, but you!!! Man, you know how to keep us glued to your Channel, and it just keeps getting better and better. So soothing, informative, full of Life. Thank you so much Rohith for making RUclips so special.
You are something else.
This man deserve more likes and subscriptions seriously.
Your travel gives the feel of old adventure motorcycle stories that I have read while growing up. Adventure first, rest follows. Brilliant stuff as always TFT.
One word to describe it is beautiful....the work you are putting to catch those beautiful views is immense, handling the gear, weather, videography making respect towards you n times higher....one word....fan of your work

It would have been an icing on the cake if we had 4k or even 2k versions of these NC 500 series videos.
agree!
Saar, in my 4k monitor, the 1080p video he has is working absolutely beautiful. Please understand for we, poor second world guys, 1080p is indeed a luxury. By the way, what do you mean when you say 2k would have been nice? Isn't 1920x1080 already 2k? which is what he uploaded?
Amazing! What a privilege to travel to be able to travel with you vicariously. My own wild camping and travelling the NC500 on my Honda CB500X. Thank you for this great series!
Great effort guys, I really enjoyed that! Music was good throughout the NC500 series, and a great choice of bike for these narrow wee roads as well. Loved your attitude to camping and the rain, I like to treat it as a challenge and consider what it would have been like hundreds of years ago for the people trying to scratch a living in these harsh conditions. In Scotland we say “There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes” an expression that originated in Scandanavia I think. It's good to remember this and enjoy each day whatever it brings.
Applecross is lovely ! I regularly stay at a very small place on the Applecross circuit called Lochcarron. Stunning ! Thanks for the uploads ! 👍😀🇬🇧
Absolutely love your enthusiasm for the beauty of Scotland. It’s so easy for us who have seen it many times to become immune to it but your enthusiasm is infectious!
Simply gorgeous. Clean, quiet & quaint windy roads. A treat to ride on.
I thought the previous travelogue was awesome and it only got better with this. Breathtaking!
I might sound selfish but I am really hoping there are subsequent parts to this trip
Only just discovered your channel via this video , so enjoyed! I love Scotland , done a 10 day solo wild camp last year on my old chopper .. it’s the perfect ride , so barren and wild .. seeing how much you loved it brought back similar memories good feelings . ❤
I took the same route as you in Sept 2021 and the road to Applecross is absolutely superb. I didn't get a view at the top of Bealach na Ba as I rode up onto the cloud as I gained height, the view on the way down though was worth the trip. I rode through Kyle of Lochalsh on my way to Skye where I visited a ruined castle which had once belonged to a namesake of mine. One thing for travellers unused to single track roads is that they are significantly slower than normal two lane roads, a 30 mile journey will probably take an hour, maybe longer in the middle of summer.
I have ridden NC500 twice now and hope to go again this Spring and also explore more of the quiet backroads. The Bealach Na Ba pass is spectacular but it's not the steepest nor most difficult road in the UK. Porlock in Devon, Rosedale Chimney in North Yorkshire and Hardknot pass in the Lake district are perhaps more challenging.
Nice series. Thumbs up
Sandy
Good to hear - so we‘re planning our trip well this spring: We‘ll finish our Scotland trip with two days of lake district. 😎
We‘ve been to Scotland quite a few times, but this year will be the first time on bikes. We also got a new drone just for this trip. Let‘s hope wind will permit flying (last year we could not start the drone in 2 weeks of scotland due to heavy winds…).
When in spring will you be there?
Agree with this, I think it's overplayed by campervan and nervous drivers. I found Hardknot a more challenging ride. Having said that I wouldn't want to drive either of them daily in the winter ice and snow.
Wow, blue skies
Another great video, I'll be riding the NC 500 this year
I have been following your channel for many years but now I am riding my KLR650 around India, I finally understand your channel name.
I watching ur video since 2017 . Your content are pure adventurous, inspiration. specially your Sikkim diary, I can remember till now. Love you from West Bengal ❤
I have been watching your videos from your thunderbird days and the quality is top notch . The content is amazing .
Your class is different buddy. ❤️
One good thing about going later in the year, when it is colder, you didn't get attacked by the swarms of Scottish midges.
very nice...wonderful viewing...look forward to your next adventure...ride safe brother.
amazing been watching your content last 3 years ,
I have just been new on my own moto vlog YT channel, i wanted something which i could experience and share my audience just like the way i feel during my ride and you have shown me a path for it.
What a connection to our feelings!😊
I'll learn a lot from your channels.
Godspeed !!❤
1:55 in the summer your daylight hours there will be more than 18 hours instead of the short days you experienced.....
CRAZY good videos that you produce!! Very captivating and of high quality content. Thank you for taking us along with you on your venture. 🙏🏻
Catching up with this series a little late but what a gorgeous experience! Needless to say it's been put together really well
Wow! A lovely episode with panoramic views, soulful music, drama and worthwhile adventure! Thanks for sharing! 👏🙏
Really glad you made it to Achiltibui and Applecross bhai. Thanks for the shoutout and mention last episode 😊

Just awesome 👌
Looks a lovely place to ride and stay, really enjoyable video and commentary
Nice work mate!
just love your attitude man
Love you for your hardwork man
Fabulous viewing 👏🏻
looks wonderful, hope you had an amazing time :)
P.s. Its not actually as challenging trekking and motorcycling. Just carry your bike gear/luggage a bit into the track, and store in a sheltered/out of sight area. (trees work wonders)
Awesome vlog with stunning views 👍👍
Great great 🎉❤. Keep going bro
love ur narration , take care of urself , God bless U !!

The whole video has a golden glow to it ❤
I have Enduristan Monsoon saddle bags on my crf300l, they sit and fit well. 30ltrs each side. Lovely quality, totally waterproof.
Another cracking video
Loving watching your vidoes. I'm from the Scottish Highlands and the nc500 is my playground. Where on earth is alachnaharra though !?
What a place, what a ride 👏.
Outstanding ❤❤
Damn beautiful you are our GVM 💯
Your vlogs are addictive man ❤
Thank you so much 😀
you are one of a kind😇
They say Scotland is apparently a painting where all the artists put down the best type of colours and scenery together and tease folks outside of it. So it's true then!!
So beautiful...
When I did my trip on a 125 with a 3.6 ltr tank I planned my fuel stops carefully, I marked all the fuel stops on route on a map and also carried 2 litres in a fuel can enough for 50 miles. The small villages on route sometimes have unmanned pumps which only take credit or debit cards but they are also ANPR linked so record your reg then check with DVLA if you are legal before dispensing fuel. Obviously foreign plated vehicles do not get checked and the system recognises these plates so just checks the card is valid before fuel can be pumped. A 2 litre can is fine for a small bike but a larger 5 ltr should be considered for a larger capacity bike I am off up there 2023 but this time on a 1100 Rebel so I will use a 7.5 lire " flat " fuel can which is good for 50 - 60 miles I always use a properly certified fuel can as they are thicker and the seal can cope with fuel which can harden some types of rubber.
I have a 1.5ltr Fuel Friend strapped to the carrier. Two would probably be wiser. (Honda crf300l.)
For a few moments, I had some anxiety watching you ride POV, thinking you were on the wrong side of the road until I remembered you were in Scotland not the Americas.
Wow my friend.. I love this style.. :)) How come it takes an indian cousin to show us how vlogging should be done. I am A FAN and subscribed Keep safe my friend🤓😎💯❤🩹
Hi bro, It’s been long time you hadn’t uploaded any video! I am worried about you! Are you fine? I like the way make videos.. While I see your videos I feel like watching Goutham Menon’s movies..
Come back & Take care.
-your fan

Do you have your itinerary listed anywhere? I live here in the UK and am planning out my ride for early 2024. It would be very helpful.
