I enjoy the Emmy's way more than any other award show. Compared to the Globes, everyone seemed more appreciative, respectful and happy.

This was a beautiful homage to all of the classic TV Shows my generation grew up with. So many well deserved awards were handed out, but one I was ecstatic about was Niecy Nash-Betts. I absolutely adore her. She has paid her dues and I am just so happy for her. I'm a HUGE fan. Congratulations Queen WoooHooo👏🏽🎉❤

Did they deserve the Best Comedy? It's a very good TV show but I don't remember laughing at anything. Succession was funnier than The Bear

I know! Such a bummer for the actual comedy shows! If it had been in the drama category, they would've lost everything to Succession, so my guess is that's why they switched. Their show has a short running time as a comedy, it has some comedic characters, but it is definitely not a comedy. @@comichope325
@@doreene11I think the reason for that is because they don't reach 1 hour in their episodes while for Drama one episode usually exceeds one hour. I don't know if this is real because I just read it somewhere.
@@doreene11 I absolutely agree and had said the same thing in regards to the win for best comedy. I even remember saying to my husband…”I don’t remember laughing, especially during the Christmas episodes…I was far from laughing then”. It’s strange which categories they slot movies into each year at these award shows. 🤷🏼♀️

Oh man seeing James Gandolfini's picture literally made me cry. My best friend and I used to watch this together and if we couldn't because of weather (Colorado snow), we got on the phone and watched it and drank wine. Good times.

I was so disappointed that Evan Peters didn't win. He was exceptional in his role as Dahmer. It's been mocked so many times but he did it outstandingly.

Jennifer Coolidge deserved so much better than the disrespect she faced after accepting her first and second award.
She has worked her ass off her entire career to get where she is today. She has been working for over 25 years in the entertainment industry for the hosts mother to show up and take it upon herself to embarrass Jennifer I don't know if it was supposed to be a joke but I'm sorry that was disrespectful. This woman is what the mother of the host but what gives her a right stand up in the middle of an acceptance speech from Jennifer Coolidge and open her mouth.
She deserved the same respect given to everyone else.
I didn't like that part either. Maybe it was just a bit, but it just didn't sit well with me

His mother stood straight up and pointed to the clock..
You can see in Jennifer's eyes she had no idea and was just as shocked as we were. So she didnt even get to finish her speech because she felt very disrespected.
His mother did it out of pure ignorance, it happened with her first Emmy win speech also. They just turned the music on and escorted her off the stage.
