I am a big believer in the Anthem AVM90 and using digital crossover and sub woofer outs to powered towers.

Beautiful home theater room, I've seen a lot on RUclips, and that one is just what I would want. Wish we had a store like that in New Brunswick Canada, I would love to hear the deference between the Focal VS Paradigm Persona VS Perlisten speakers, the 3 speakers I would love to hear, with my Bryston amps. A toy for big boys store....

Gene, please do us a huge favor and settle this for us, once and for all. Can you compare the SQ from ARC Genesis, Dirac Live, Audyssey MultEQ XT32, both in 2-channel (2.1 better) and multichannel modes? You can have the experts set it up in your lab or room and have a double (triple?) blind test where you (or a group of serious audiophiles) have no idea which RC is actively engaged. Make notes from the audience on the plusses and minuses of each RC system. This will help many of us make better buying AV decisions. Maybe the winner could be compared (unfailry maybe from aprice point of view) to the Trinnov RC system.
That's a challenging comparison to take on. Bottom line ARC Genesis is easiest of the room corrections to set up and get sounding good with little fuss but it's not as powerful as Dirac or Audyssey PC. Audyssey PC vs Dirac can sound equally good if properly set up. But we may do a comparison w listeners down the road.
@@Audioholics When you say ARC is not as powerful as the rest, does this lack of power translate in inferior SQ? Or is it that it'll take a longer time (maybe with extra frustrations) to calibrate your system using Dirac and Audyssey, but will sound better than ARC in the long run?
@davidmusoke ARC is It's not a mixed phase correction system like Dirac. It's a more basic form of correction using min phase approach.

@davidmusoke I never said that. Dirac has the potential to be better but also has the potential to make things worse. So far, I haven't liked any Dirac calibrated systems, but I'm not giving up hope.
