  • Visual Effects supervisors Ian Hunter and Matthew Gratzner create a war-zone environment for a motion picture using miniatures to imitate a large destroyed city street.

    This is stunning, but the only thing that would let it down would be the way gravity works on the miniatures unless they are shot in slow motion, personally I'd have opted for a green screen just in front of the actors and their set then removed that element and shot the rest of the FP and miniature elements at a lower frame rate timed debris falling on actors to scale bullet impacts. Add a light wrap in post and bingo.

    Good ol LA times ads that played before a movie started in the early 2000s.
    Good video for such a shit newspaper.
