A space like this would cost 10s of thousands to get effective sound deadening. It would be cheaper to build a walled in studio in the space.

Doug has talked at length about the fact that he's been filming with a cheap camcorder and his iPhone from Day 1. Do you really think he gives a crap about sound deadening?
You know how Doug sometimes has great analysis, that completely misses the mark? Like the recent video about how people want NO SCREENS. No one actually says that, the uproar is about EVERYTHING being on screens. So Doug's arguing with a Strawman. Well, in similar light, Doug believes his ghettoness in terms of recording is a big reason for his success. The fact that his production value is so low attracts people to his videos, he's said this in interviews. He's completely off the mark again. Doug has succeeded IN SPITE OF his low production values because of the quality of his content... not BECAUSE Of the low production values. With better production quality, his videos would be even more successful. Whether it's worth doing it or not is a different debate, but for something basic like having servicable audio, Jesus, yes. Get some fabric panels up in the review cave.

I owned one of these and it’s the best car I ever had. and one of the few that will go that distance with some dignity. it was just totally overbuilt in every way as Toyota/Lexus still needed to prove themselves as a worthy Mercedes competitor.

Please do a video discussing the early days of Cars and Bids. Talk about the idea and the 1st so many cars that were on the site and personal thoughts as they were listed.
I thought they were supposed to name the actual vehicles, and I was so confused how you could be the closest; it was only once they started the game that I understood.

That said, the questions here were worded poorly in my opinion. They should have been worded more like "Cost of cheapest wagon from 1984." I kept expecting them to answer with the make/model instead of the cost/milage, as it was asking for the "Cheapest wagon from 1984."

That said, regarding Cars & Bids, definitely would love to see Cars & Bids branch out someday to over here in Europe, or at least some of our 44 Countries.
We don't have a Business/Website like that at all, just normal Classifieds by both Private and Business Sellers of which the biggest and most popular one is the German-owned Website called "Mobile" in which pretty much most of Europe sells/buy/trades their Cars. But as i said, theyre just normal Classifieds, they own the whole Market basically, but we got nothing like Cars & Bids and i feel it would fill a Niche over here in Europe, especially Western, Southern and Central Europe especially. I'm 100% sure a lot of People prefer the Cars & Bids System over the Mobile Website System

Used to love Doug, but he's an asshole to his staff in these videos.
Love the podcasts. Production tip, use a 150hz highpass filter on those mics to keep the rumble out. Even on the car review videos during the test drives. There is a lot of road and vehicle noise rumble in the audio when it’s full range.
doug is pretty inspirational for building a successful automotive business and bringing his friends along in the journey

The Car Care Nut just finished the restoration on that 628k mile Lexus LS430.
I know the owner of that 600,000 Lexus LS 430. He is my local Toyota mechanic who also has a RUclips channel called Car Care Nut and he is doing a full restoration of the car.

The questions were worded wrong. They were guessing the numerical value but the questions were asking for the make/model of the cars.
