@@Anino_Makata It's on the in game version which also has it so it makes sense. When they designed it they were probably going for an AUG A3 with the lower profile rail but they decided to add the iconic integral scope as well.

B-AR stands for Burst Assult Rifle by the way. This one in particular represents one of the epic, legendary, or mythic rarity. Pretty dissapointed it doesnt shoot the darts out in bursts of 2 like it does in game.
Someone could try to make a burst fire kit for it, similar to that malfunctioning Stryfe one that Frank used. Or, better yet, maybe someone could adapt a Regulator's electronics.
I've always wanted a rayven, and I honestly like the look of this blaster. I still hate the weird barrel but I like the aug look. The only downside is that it is not burst like in fortnite. I know it is more expensive to make a burst function but it would be cooler.
I think the reason for the blaster taking C type batteries is to give a little more punch to the darts because the barrel is so long. I think the halo ma40 also took C batteries, so it has something to do with bulpups.
C batteries just give the batteries more life. The way you get more power is through voltage. Look at the spectrum compared to this. It uses 6, 1.5 volt cells instead of 4. 9 volts > 6 volts.
Bought one for son's birthday today, The gun jammed within a few hours, I couldn't remove the bullets, so ended up having to take out 30 screws just to partially open up to remove barrel, removed jammed bullets and put it back together, worked fine afterwards. My point is these CAN jam and are a real pain to fix. Personally I have had more issues with jamming on high end priced nerf guns than with the cheaper X-shot guns and would only give this a 3/5 based on the high price and jamming experience along with how many screws I had to take out to get to the issue only to find that you cannot completely take it apart, making it very difficult to fix the issue.
It’s like Hasbro didn’t even bother trying to hide that this is a Rayven. It’s as though rather than coming up with new ideas, Hasbro is relying on old successful ideas they know will make them money. But Hasbro wouldn’t do that right?
There is nothing wrong with reusing functional technology. Why reinvent the system if the Rayven mechanics work? This is just another option on the market.
@@Coop772 also for most countries we only have the newer stuff, the old either never came out in the first place or does not deliver to here without paying 5 times the price just for delivery so there are a great alternative for those old classic blasters
I do love that you do a fairly good job of staying objective in your reviews even when it's something that doesn't necessarily appeal to you. I also don't play Fortnite or know any of it's weapons but I find myself watching these because I know you'll go over everything pertinent in an easy to digest fashion. That and your jokes and inserted moments like today's "Full ambi, bro" make me chuckle.
The reason why it feels like a modified blaster but doesn't have a high FPS ave. is because of the barrel length. Due to it being a bullpup, the flywheels are way behind compared to one from a traditional blaster. That also means why you get shots from 60-80 FPS.
Trust m3 the Retaliator is better because its more comfortable and has a bigger prime that you can actually grip onto and plus its not glued together so you can mod or remove some locks
Also I just want to say, I don't even play nerf. I had a nerf maverick a few years ago that I played Russian roulette with but that's about it. I just watch these cos I absolutely love Coop's sense of humour, his video style and layout... Just thoroughly wholesome and entertaining.
I might paint this, sand off the Fortnite logo, and mod it. I like AUGs and this looks a lot like one. I don’t care about Fortnite but I love AUGs and this looks like an AUG so I love it
The only reason I bought this was for the bullpup aesthetic, I like it more than the MA40, purely based on the ergonomics. And the BAR is more of an assault rifle platform compared to the rayven. So my overall rating 7.5/10

I just bought one, and im lucky if the dart leaves the barrel. if not it goes 5 feet, and if im really lucky it fires like it should. 1/5 of the darts go beyond melee range.

My son's keeps jamming since he got his. I'm very unhappy with it if it's not going to work. I have checked the magazine well, ammo (nerf darts) are brand new, etc. The thing has been jamming ever since he's owned it (received it on Christmas day).
I'm not really a hobbyist anymore but I have a massive collection of 100+ blasters and to be honest I know this isn't really that practical but I might have to buy this one simply because it looks kinda cool as long as I just cover the fortnite logo lol

The BAR blaster in Fortnite called the burst assault rifle make sure to only use the White bullets with it because when I got it are used a different bullet because I knew I had a nurse gonna fight with my friends and it’s jammed and I got really bad stuck

It doesn't look like the barrel would do much damage to the dart's range because the barrel is pretty open
Dart zone blasters are able to get an fps of 80+ with 6 AAbatteries I don't know how it works so why does Nerf insist using C batteries
