@@BrushedbyBrandy Thank you! I am finding that I love it for the rustic, dry-brushed effect. I use many brands of paints depending upon the color and love that CC does not have an exclusive contract (so I can still use my back stock). I know you now prefer WO, but the distributor for their brand in my town is available for purchasing by appointment only, which really doesn't work with my schedule. This led me to order CC from Amazon and I fell in love with the packaging BEFORE I even opened the paint, LOL!! I follow your videos faithfully and am thankful you did not take down previous videos from when you worked with DB. There is some great content there! I am wondering, if I may ask, why you chose to go with the brand you chose?
I just painted a base coat over the compound stencil and let it dry. After which I did some blending no movement of the compound at all. As long as it is super dry you are good. PS I was using country chic also
I have had to replace the carpet drop cloth in my garage studio once only because I glued a piece of steel grate by pouring paint on rocks on it. It lasted through two years of paint pouring and many projects and kept me from slipping on the paint. Carpet is better than any other option I’ve found plus it’s padded for my planter fasciitis and bad back!
I'm late to this, but I guess it popped up because I use Country Chic paint. Nice to see it getting exposure in the US market!😊. (and I would add to your wonderful description that Country Chic has the most gorgeous finishing products and is self-levelling too, lol). Thanks for showing us great blending!! 🥰❤️
Hi I am nee to your channel and love your videos so far. I was wondering what u are painting your furniture on, like is it a special stand , it has great movement it seems. Not sure if u have a video explaining it or if u will make a short one on it, but how to lay out your space would be a great topic for a newbie like me. TIA
Welcome! It was on a furniture dolly in this one, good to have a few of those on hand. I use 3 wheel dollies a lot too, have those in my Amazon shop. They are like little roller skates for the furniture legs www.amazon.com/shop/brushedbybrandy
@@BrushedbyBrandy thanks I thought I heard u mention harbor freight. Anyways once I find the set I want for my bedroom, I think I have decided I will build a custom stand that uses maybe scissor jack and castor wheels that lock(i do woodworking). Thanks for your lists, i have already poured over them multiple times on amazon, i tend to over research things. Also, where do u tend to get furniture from for your pieces? TIA
I just found your very informative video. I’m in love. But what was the primmer you used? I am about to paint a cedar chest with Country Chic but do need to prim it first. Thanks.
Thing about texas is the lower real estate costs. Look into Abilene, I raised my kids there and it was safe. I actually miss it. Lots of Californian folks coming here. We just ask that they leave California in California. LOL. My husband is from San Francisco.
Brandy darling, hello. I think you are incredibly gifted at what you do! I've watched you for a while now honey. I'm amazed at how you can do anything and have it come out beautiful! I am not in any way criticizing you, seriously I'm not....I would just love to see what you could do with a wide variety of colors. I know you rock at blues, your blending looks like suede, it's perfection! But could you do some crazy pinks or reds or anything...purple? Please Brandy I know you have more tricks up your sleeve...thank you dear for sharing your passion and creativity. I love the chemistry between you and Sean...show us more of what I know you're capable of honey please...God bless
It's kinda funny, but when most brands chose colors for me, they chose the blues, so until I could order more, that is what I had to work with in other brands
It’s no surprised you’re blessed with success. Your personality and having a love to help others is above par! Blessing to you and your family!❤️
I am a new retailer to the brand and enjoyed seeing your blending technique using their products. Thank you!
It's a beautiful psint, great color selection and beautiful branding, should do well for you

Move to Texas! The Hill Country is beautiful! I wouldn’t live in any other state!
So tempting!

You are so dang good!!!
Love it!❤️
Love this! If you were to recreate this look with Wise Owl CSP, what colors would you use?
I'd say abyss, river rock, and ivory

Brandi I want to get that soft blended metal look for my fireplace. What brand may I use that withstands high heat?
What kind of lighting do u use when painting furniture in the winter?
