This is dope! I like that she doesn't seem to complain about the challenge of being a girl in a tough sport. She understands that it is what it is. I like her attitude about it. I coached highschool girls AAU basketball. We made them scrimmage guys/ men all the time. Then smashed most teams we played by 25+. Love her tough mentality! She will do well in life!
Torrence, thanks for giving back and being a part of the journey for young athletes!
I can't wait until she gets paralyzed playing varsity.. hahhaha
Nobody cares why are you blacks so obsessed why basketball? Coming from you I don’t care all you people do is talk about basketball it’s great seeing people like Caitlyn Clark me jokic killin it

Would of loved to see her doing everything. Taking a hit, delivering a block, not just highlight stuff. But do love the game, it's hard work and heart and she gave both.❤
Don't worry you won't see it 🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷🤷
She gets tackled multiple times in the video. Don't know what you need to see. A RBs highlights don't need to show getting blown up. It happens to every back NBD.
she will be giving more than that when the she takes a serious hit.
Aren't you the same hypocrites who cry and moan when a male plays on a female team?
There are high school hits that definitely knock lights out...show that hit.
She ran for a collossal 23 yards and lost 3 fumbles her HS Senior year! Super impressive stats! She's headed for the NFL Hall of Fame, amiright?
Well she’s a female so playing
high school football is an accomplishment in itself let alone scoring touchdowns
Stop with the nonsense.@@jjkj1526
@@jjkj1526 it's a team sport, one's value does not lie in what gender someone is but how they perform.

All I know is, we would've had to run so many laps on Monday.🤦🏾♂️🤕🤣🤣
it’s so cool seeing other female football players!! i do varsity football and all star cheer which is super controversial but i love it!

Touchdown queen? But I'm curious as to why pretty much no game tape in this whole story. The one they showed they refused to tackle her!
Ya wonder why that is?
You really can't figure it out?
You know why
It will lead to girls at bigger high schools to get hurt

Wow she was ready. Great story. She loves football so much and it shows.
Love her attitude… going places. Congrats.

Why no clips of her getting lit up like all RB's do? Clearly she is the team masscott. Gotta love California.😊
I don't think they were even looking to tackle her...
How stupid can you be? That’s like going on a video of lebron breaking the scoring record and saying “why aren’t they showing him getting his shots blocked”
Cmon folks... The slow speed off the ball and the tiny kids on the other team... its a shame what they are trying to do here... I've coached 28 years... And girls DO NOT have the physicality to play football with boys... I've had one opponent that got my respect... And she was a huge Samoan or Tongan girl whose brothers played college football... Other than that girls literally get smacked all around the field... Sheesh... this is pandering... SMH
The real life icebox from lil giants! You go girl
Aren't you the same hypocrites who cry and moan when a male plays on a female team?
Very cool to see. This is a very tough sport for females to play, it's all speed and power. When I played in high school I was one of the smallest guys on the team. I was quick, but constantly taking hits from guys 50 - 100 lbs bigger than you can be brutal, and she looks at least 25 lbs smaller than I was.
How big were you exactly?
@@my2bit2cents78 138 lbs. I remember exactly because I was trying hard to get to at least 140 but I couldn’t get there
This is just dangerous
What an absolutely mature lovely young lady. Not only is she determined and has broken barriers she has a compassionate heart. Best of luck Bella 😊
Wasn’t there a female kicker for a college team last year or year before? She is the goalie for womens soccer team. Vanderbilt or Missouri?? She won special teams player of the week for her squib kicks. Best of luck to Bella and all the other females out there who are and who have already played pee wee, high school and college football!! They showed Bella it can be done! Props all around! Good luck Bella watch those 6’2 220lb lb’s!
Keep the same energy when she gets hit by a man who treats her like a man in a mens league. Why not play in a womens league? Not enough attention?
@@Tony_Kaku your fragile masculinity is showing pineapple. you cant handle man on man and you cant handle this woman being better than you. go cry in your pillow mommas boy
@@Tony_Kaku Yes, because frankly, no one cares about women's leagues. If i was a woman i would want to play with the guys too. womens leagues get no attention, no respect, and certainly no paychecks
This is as far as a woman can go is the high school level. Boys when they become men get bigger, faster and stronger so it gets harder to play against males but still not physically impossible to play against males because of this advantage and women for the most part can handle and play with males even when males hit puberty. But when you play the best high school teams that blowout most high school teams during the season, you are playing against the best athletes with many of these better athletes playing better than they are able to play naturally because the top level high school teams players are using steroids or PEDs, Performance Enhaning Drugs. The PED use by these great athletes destroy most boys teams so they will destroy the female athletes as well. In D1 football they are even better athletes with these athletes on PED use as well while it gets even greater in the NFL. So when I hear girls and women saying that they want to play in the NFL, sorry it won't happen because you are going against the best male athletes with these male athletes making themselves even better than they naturally are by PED use. Maybe if the women take PED like the men, which was common with Olympic female athletes with the East German and USSR women in the 1970s and 1980s they might have a shot but even still I highly doubt that they would make it to D1 college level yet alone the NFL. Those East German women and USSR women that took PED back in the 1980s looked like men, lol! PED use made them hugh with deep voices, lol and some people thought they they were men.
She hasn't met that Linebacker making a name for himself yet.......but she will.
Lets be real here, they have to announce it over the speakers she's coming in the game, so the players take it easy on her. She plays in Orange County a recuriting hotbed there is no way they are putting her up against top flight competition, she would get destroyed

Believe it was a blowout.
I still can't comprehend why there isn't a female football team. It was my dream to play football my whole life and I never could besides the flag football games in gym class.
because there are not enough females to put a team together much less a league .
There is no men's league in pro or college ball
There's only a women's league and an open league
Any female in the US can play in open leagues/associations
All major college all pro sports
@@lockandloadlikehellyou got that backwards I think
Pretty easy to score a touchdown when the other team is told to stand down. Same thing with the girl kicker on that college team. When the ball is snapped the defense just stood there.
Makes sense. When she comes in, the outcome of the game is not in question. No one wants to be the guy who puts her in the hospital. Whoever hits her hard probably risks his future.
We had a girl try out for football. We ran tackling drills until she quit. It was awesome.

Not every woman can cut it. But the fact yall enjoyed hurting her really shows what men are like at the core

X League, now.
@user-cl7cm8jy6w well she's not going to play football obviously sooooo
Funny how many guys are upset by this. The team won 48-0 she got 8 Carrie’s that game. She played in one other blowout all season and got 2 carries. It seems like the coach was doing a nice kid who was a senior a solid in a game that their opponent was clearly overmatched. Her teammates seemed excited for her. Good for her. Feels like a Rudy type situation to me
No, the woke idiots will use this to claim there is no difference between boys and girls
every school trying to get their first no matter what, they want publicity and funding no matter what danger someone is put in
Ik this is late but for some clarification my cousin played her in freshman football, and for a girl going against boys she’s was good, but as an actual normal player she was kind of mediocre, I mean she could find the holes easily but that was about it she didn’t rally juke or anything like that and went down after first contact, also a stranger issue was since she was a girl she was already developed… she was 5’10 and taller then some of her linemen meaning you could see her whenever she got the ball. all an all for a female running back she wasn’t bad just nothing special
There is nothing more disrespectful than letting a gurl run a touchdown on the goaline, bruh. I'm telling the defense that if she leaves the field walking ur off the team, I wanna see her flying backward break her down. However, u need to wonder how many carries she gets a game she couldn't run the ball against my middle school boys hitting harder than listerene
Wait till she meets that 6"3 250 Linebacker💀
100% behind her. You go girl.
Men are better women will never make it to the nfl I would tackle her in half

I am confused about the purpose of this story. If transgender athletes are dominating female sports, and this story is supposed to inspire us, what message are we supposed to take away? Is it simply about being tough, even if you're slower, smaller, and weaker? These types of feel-good stories may have contributed to the current controversy surrounding transgender athletes in female sports. Furthermore, I noticed that the footage of the athlete in question was brief and there were instances where opposing players seemed to hold back. While one commenter asked why gender even matters, it seems that the people who posted this story on RUclips do care about it, as evidenced by the numerous comments congratulating the athlete. However, I am left wondering if the athlete is being celebrated for simply being a mascot.
YOU GO GIRL
She's playing against guys? Wow, where is this? In most football crazy states, they would lite her up and not even on purpose because that's the way it's played. Maybe these guys know about her and give her a break.
I wasn't a good football player, by any means, because of lack of wheels. But, I did lay the wood and I liked it. I rattled my own teeth by hitting and she wouldn't get up from some of the hits I took.
I hope she doesn't get hurt.
She only played 2 games all year. Both blowouts. One game 2 Carries for 2 yards and this won she got 8 carries for about 20. They won 48-0. Coach was just doing her a solid. Which is cool, she seems like a nice kid and the guys on her team seemed excited for her.
@@michaeldc951 I still don't know that I care for it for a number of reasons, but mostly because of her health.
@@bradtaylor4765 oh, I totally agree. I don’t like it at all. But mainly cause I’m a dad and I think how I’d feel about my daughter playing football. But it seems like he put her in the best possible situation.
@@michaeldc951 Right, being a dad changes a lot of attitudes. I don't really like women boxing or UFC or any of that because first of all, they are pretty usually and I don't want to see them get their faces messed up. But, also because I'm a dad I don't care for that
The world NEEDS more Bella's!!!!! Do what you love, love what you do and do it to the best of your ability! Regardless of what others say!! Good luck in every thing you do, although I know that your attitude will carry you farther than luck ever will. And oh yeah, Sweetness of coarse is my favorite of all time.
No! We do not! You , misandristic women need to teach your son that it is okay to compete... against girls!
Stop! Telling them that they are still not supposed to...hit girls! It weakens them !!!
Olympic flag football might bea stretch, but rugby is already there, and might might be a perfect fit for her. Most of the current team played basketball or ran track in high school and college. Of the veterans, only superstar Alev Kelter came from a contact sport background, international ice hockey. Rookie Samantha Sullivan only took up rugby in college. Bella could easily leverage her love of contact into an Olympic medal. (USA is presently rank third in the world right now, just a couple of points behind 2016 gold medalist Australia.)
I wish she would come to UCONN and play basketball!
Why is this news? My 60 year old father could’ve scored on that play
I have two daughters. I want them to aspire to do anything the set their mind to. Sky's the limit! Bella is an inspiration and a great example.
But let's be honest...
Anyone who has played any level of football beyond Jr. High knows that the level of physicality is different. Even with just the available game footage from this mini-feature shows you that she is receiving special treatment. They do not form tackle her in game speed. It was arm drags, pushes out of bounds, or incidental contact after a TD. She was never hit - squared up - running through a gap. There were SEVERAL opportunities to neutralize her at the line of scrimmage - with unblocked players - that could have put a shoulder into her and stopped her for no yards gained or very little yards. They didn't.
So what are we doing here?
Are we promoting special treatment for a person - who does not look that fast, doesn't have good cut ability, and is considerably less athletic compared to the average HS running back?
For the idea of a girl being able to achieve something in a very physical and violent sport that is primarily played by boys?
I don't believe the argument from physical ability is met here. I want to see her do the oklahoma drill - where I am testing other players and their ability - and see her smash into them with violence and see how she holds up. I don't think she will. And I don't think she gets full-contact scrimmaging without some implicit exceptions.
It's an inspiring story. Great job. But what did it actually take to help her meet those achievements? Did we compromise the game itself?
How do the other players feel about giving their 100% best, fighting injuries, and competing to start in that particular position - while she clearly is treated with some exception?
What are we truly teaching kids about giving your best effort despite insurmountable odds? Because football, life and society will not give exceptions.
Timestamp one moment where a player could have made a better tackle attempt on her
Keep making history, and putting on! God bless your soul, so inspiring
I was the 1st person to walk of my new staircase that's making history no one else has ever done it before
@@kylewallace9187🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 world record right there! Congrats! Your future generation is proud already.
She is tough. Much respect
Great kid and excellent athlete. She might think of playing rugby at Uni. She would do well I think.
She might not get a lucrative NIL deal or just an NIL deal at all because college rugby is practically non-existent by the viewing public in the US. For example Ohio State University football program brought in $210 million in 2019 while their rugby program, which is funded by the money from football, probably brought in a few thousand dollars at the most.
They have girls' rugby?
When you want something bad enough, you go after it, irregardless of who, or what you are
More power to her. She did something incredible and it's an amazing accomplishment, but wait until she gets hit hard, or touched in the wrong place. What happens then to the guy who did it on accident? Or, even if she gets hit hard buy a guy who doesn't care she's a girl, he's going to hit hard. The guys in that clip weren't trying super hard against her. But, in all honesty it is a tremendous feat that she is alowed to ay with boys at all.
Edit: I know they wear pads and stuff, so I guess that part doesn't make sense
She couldn't have played with us in the 90s. A team had a girl and I guess the previous team went half speed with her. Man listen. Next coach warned the other coach not to put her in the game with the ball. She got hit so that she got her period early. Criminal 🤕🤦🏾♂️🤣
Well,
Bella Rasmussen, Your Story is inspiring for Every Young Women/Wife/Girlfriend or whomever to NOT GIVE UP, SURRENDER, QUIT, RETREAT OR THROW IN THE TOWELS WHEN TIMES GET TOUGH, STRIVE AND THRIVE TO BE THE BEST YOU YOU POSSIBLY CAN BE IN LIFE!!!!
Yes! Go out and get your head knocked off in the name of women's rights!
Is she playing in a private school league or is it just that terrible? I know that there is a message of do what you love and don't let anyone tell you differently, however, if she was playing in a 5A or 6A district I don't think that the holes would look that wide. It is good that she loves playing and is being given a chance to play, but we have to see when guys go full speed and show no mercy to smaller players on the field.
Thank you, Rep. Patsy Mink!!
I didn't expect this story to be so inspiring. I was pleasantly surprised.
Does she have a Disney show about her
So inspirational. Love that for her!

Now that is a real woman! Not some trans that couldn’t cut it playing on the boys team so woke up as girl so he could dominate women’s sports.
@Ray Zimmerman if there isn’t a girls team yes. And the fact that she will never be as good as the boys yes. When a boy who is ranked below 200 in the men’s and wants to claim he’s a girl now and vaults to champion, that’s a problem. If you don’t see the difference you’re in lala land.
I’ve literally played against her. She is horrible like not even close. She scored against a team that even my team blew out who has only had a football program for 2 years. On top of that everyone and there mother was blocking for her, anyone could have scored.

I definitely admire her getting out there like that, but no... it's not odd in highschool for skilled positions to still be at 130 to 150 pounds. In college though most skilled positions are gonna be at least 180 pounds... She could get seriously hurt in college football.(even d2)
When she gets her bell rung , then she will go into concussion protocol and experience mental health first hand .
Is she playing against boys and clips or against girls. I know Georgia has a woman's high school football league.
Do you guys know if the Woman Professional Football League is still around? I remember San Diego and Phoenix had teams. Phoenix Caliente (don’t remember “SD” name”. My mom used to play for Phoenix, great memories.
Happy for her, just would not let my daughter believe she is going to play at a higher level. She would be hurt badly. At least she is having a impact at her school now.

She can't get it done though. She's slow AF. It's a pity/publicity/SJW agenda roster spot. It's basically a participation trophy.
True, but what she gets done is less than average, if she was just looked at as another player, but her gender is the reason she was selected for this video not her contribution to the team. She is an exceptional female but a less than average player.
