Not particularly a fan. Took someone elses music AND someone elses animation characters and style to piggy back on that clout.
The difference here is that Mystery Ben using someone elses music is that he made those characters and animation and thus they are an original addition.
There is nothing original here. I know people feel compelled to immediately give support and like things like this when it includes the music and stuff they like, but there is always a bigger picture to be mindful of. This would upset me greatly if someone took my hardwork and used it to make their own stuff to be apart of the attention while using as minimal effort and adding no originality.
i- have you never heard of *fan*content? Content people make without taking credit of the creation of the series/movie/music/characters they’re using??? If so where the hell have you been on the internet seriously lmao

hey man, not cool :\ they never claimed to own these characters, or have any affiliation with mystery ben or mystery skulls. also, consider,, it's just fan content? there doesnt have to be a "bigger picture", this person could simply be expressing their appreciation for this content in a creative way. i understand where you're coming from, and in a case where this person would be claiming that these characters were their own, or that mystery ben had gifted them to them especially, i would agree. but on the surface level, it's just someone expressing something they love :\\ it's like getting upset over someone making like-- a sonic oc or something. it's just a unique way of expressing their love for the specific piece of media, but unless the creator specified otherwise (which mysteryben does the exact opposite in one of his tumblr posts), or the person is claiming that they own the franchise, content, characters etc... it's totally innocent. it does say FAN animation in the title... just saying. i understand the concern, but this couldve really hurt this creator's feelings,, yknow?
also... small sidenote. you say "it takes no effort" when it's very clearly well animated. maybe you didnt mean it like that, but for someone presumably animating by themselves, it's clean and impressive work, and very smooth, regardless of your opinion on fan-content.
