I remember the cabinet steering wheel feel being super light and and having zero feedback to the player, which of course was commonplace in that time. Cool to see this so crisp and well played now as I never got too far and ran out of money.
On pc earlier was a very identicaly game micro machines (playing with toy cars), and later comes the death rally. One thing is realy common in these games: looking all funny, but incredible hard control something in 4 direction with fixed camera.
Ah yes, that Super Sprint/Championship Sprint sequel that haves songs that keeps getting faster. Now, lets see.. 8 tracks and then the sames but backwards and then loops back to foward. So basically, 16 levels.
I played this game a little bit on the Amiga 500 many years ago. Graphically, It's pretty cool, but i think, that SUPER SPRINT - which I played on my Commodore 64 - is way better than this 😺👍🕹️. Also, i recommend mostly IVAN "IRONMAN" STEWART'S SUPER OFF-ROAD - which i played on my Commodore 64 and Amiga 500. 😺👍🕹️
Super Sprint meets Mad Max. Key here, don’t look back, get the lead and keep it.
Some elements of Super Off-Road as well

I actually liked the steering wheel... Immersive
Really nice pixel art in that game.

I thought this was based off the Martin Sheen/Sissy Spacek movie!
Race of the North Star
Ricordo questo gioco,e' un titolo interessante

It's not a clone, it's an official sequel from the same developers
@@ACanOfBakedBeans Oh, all this time i though it was a different thing, thanks for fixing that, i corrected my comment.
Why didn't you also upgraded your tires when you had the chance?

The intro screen on the Amiga was hilariously awful. The port was ok though.
@@deceiver444 I totally agree with you. 😺👍
