Hi! Visit the manned counter which the link below shows. ruclips.net/video/mD2au-8JDIQ/видео.htmlsi=fOIwDsQes9KmoasC&t=88 These days more and more people visit Osaka, so the counter is often crowded. Maybe it is necesary to be patient. Hello - We are arriving internationally into KIX then staying at the OMO7 hotel across from the Shin-Imamiya station. From the map at 5:22, it looks like we should take the Kansai Airport Rapid Express from KIX to Shin-Imamiya. We then go to Kyoto. If we want to take the Haruka, we should go back to Tennoji station and then catch Haruka to Kyoto? We want the Hello Kitty experience. Thank you. Your videos are very helpful.
Hello! Thank you for your comment. I went to NankaiShin-imamiya station yesterday and I was asked the way by a traveler from overseas. The structure of Shin-imamiya station is so complicated that even people living in Osaka sometimes get lost, so I am making a video to show how to get from KIX to Shin-imamiya station. By the way, to take Haruka to Kyoto, it is necessary to go back from Shin-imamiya station to Tennoji station. Although you can go to Osaka station and transfer there to Haruka, Osaka station is really complicated and the platforms for Haruka and local trains are far apart. So I think it is better to catch Haruka at Tennoji station. In addition, how about going to Himeji? Hello Kitty Shinkansen will take you there.😊 How cute! @@Shiba-Shiba_TrainsInJapan Thank you for you response. We are flying from the US and only have 6 days in Japan because of school breaks. We fly into KIX at 16:00 then are staying at OMO7/Shin-Imamiya for 2 nights, then going to Kyoto for 2 nights, then Tokyo 2 nights and flying out NRT on the 7th day. Our must do's are the Osaka aquarium, Fushimi-Inari & kimono rental w/ photos (recommendations?), Shibuya Sky/crossing, Harajuku vintage shopping and Team Lab if we have time and great food. I would love the Hello Kitty Shinkansen, but it looks like it goes the opposite way of our travel. Is there a way to incorporate from Osaka>Himeji>Kyoto? Do you have any other recommendations? We've traveled quite a bit, but don't live in an area that has trains, so they are my biggest source of anxiety!
Hi! With the JAPAN RAIL PASS, you can ride as many times as you like on all JR trains in Japan, including the Shinkansen, such as Osaka, Himeji and Kyoto. japanrailpass.net/en/ As far as I see your itinerary, it is very hard to visit Himeji before Kyoto. Unfortunately, Hello Kitty Shinkansen does not run between Shin-osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. So, when you come to Japan next time, please visit Osaka, Himeji, Hiroshima and Hakata taking Hello Kitty Shinkansen. In addition, Kagoshima is also very nice. Hi, Shiba-Shiba! I wanna ask again, I looked at website that for Apr 2024 "Osaka Amazing Pass" no longer available to purchase online and we have to buy "Osaka e-Pass" instead. I wonder if, in Kansai Airport or Some Stations in Osaka still sell "Osaka Amazing Pass" or not?
Unfortunately, "Osaka Amazing Pass" is not available now. You need to get "Osaka e-Pass." Apparently, reselling is rampant and they have switched to a smartphone app to prevent this.
Hi! Thank you for the comment. It's fun to take trains in Japan but a littile complicated. So if you have any questions, do feel free to comment again.😊
Shiba-san, this is a wonderful video, thank you for showing the elevator locations. Can you please give me some direction on if I want to go to the bus terminal once I leave Osaka station(高速バス to 高松市)? Is it to the right of the blue gates, and then up?
Hi! Please head to "North Central Exit." It is definitely on the map and there are signs to show the way in Osaka Station. JR Express Bus Terminal is located just outside of the North Central Exit.😊
Im planning to visit japan Arrival 14 april kix airport Visit and stay in Osaka Visit and stay in Kyoto Visit and stay in Tokyo Departure 22 april kix airport Do upu think i need to get the JRpass?
It is not necessary to buy a JR Pass, as you need to make two round trips between Tokyo and Osaka to get the original cost. How about these tickets instead? www.westjr.co.jp/global/en/ticket/pass/kansai/ www.surutto.com/tickets/kansai_thru_english.html www.jreast.co.jp/multi/en/pass/tokyowidepass.html greater-tokyo-pass.jp/en/

Hi! Thank you for leaving a comment. By taking Kansai Airport Rapid Service, it is possible to get from KIX to Nishikujo station directly without transferring. If you would like to take HARUKA, you need to change trains at Tennoji station since HARUKA does not stop at Nishikujo Station. If you have any other questions, please do feel free to comment again.
Thanks for the informative video. May I ask for your suggestion? What’s the easiest way to go to Nipponbashi from KIX? We do have JR PASS. Would u recommend still buying nankai rapi:t or just take haruka from kix to osaka and ride another train to namba then nipponbashi? Thanks so much!
Hello! How about this route? The fare between Tennoji and Nippombashi stations is only 190JPY. Kansai Airport Station ↓ [JR HARUKA] about 35 minutes ↓ Tennoji Station ↓ [Osaka Metro Tanimachi line] 2 minutes ↓ Tanimachi 9-chome Station ↓ [Osaka Metro Sennichimae line] 2 minutes ↓ Nippombashi Station If you have any other questions, feel free to comment again.☺
Hi! I purchased my ticket at one of the staffed counters. Actually, there are two types of counters. One is for foreign travelers and the other is for Japanese. Fortunately, I waited for only 7 minutes. However, I guess foreign travelers had to wait for more than 30 minutes.
Hi! Haruka has 3 different types of seats. 1. Green Car (first class, reserved seating) 2. reserved seating 3. non-reserved seating JR Pass covers the fare for 2 and 3. If you would like to take a reserved seating car, it is necessary to book seats before boarding. If you have any other questions, do feel free to comment again.😊
Hi! Thank you for your comment. The most popular route is to go from JR Osaka Station to Shin-osaka station and transfer to the Shinkansen. At JR Osaka Station, trains departing from track No.7 or 8. stop at Shin-osaka station. Also, you can take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line from Umeda Station, which is located in the vicinity of JR Osaka Station, to Shin-osaka Station. The video below shows this route. ruclips.net/video/yXIPH_2nPOQ/видео.html If you have any other questions, do feel free to comment again.😊
Your channel is so useful! I'm starting to work as a Tour Guide (for portuguese speakers) and I was thinking of go for a walk to Umekita Underground Station but now I don't thank you! =)
Thanks for your video (and the others). u made trips for first timers easier. For JR train trip, shld we consider JR passes (those 7,14,21 da pass) or just buy 1-way trip for Airport -> City first?
Hi! I'm glad you like my videos. JAPAN RAIL PASS is very convenient and valuable. If you make a round trip between Osaka and Tokyo by shinkansen, it already covers the cost. (Note that prices are likely to increase in October.) Therefore, I think you should get JAPAN RAIL PASS. However, if you are going to visit places only around Osaka, for example Kyoto, Nara, Kobe or Wakayama, you might want to buy 1-way trip ticket from KIX to city. If you have any other questions, feel free to comment again.
I had the Information that the JR Railway Pass does not cover 80% of Kansai Area. So If i travel only around Kansai - isn't an Area Pass more efficient? Like Kansai Wide Area Pass or the JR Western Railpass and combine with Daytickets
