The good ole great days of Judo when they let the Judokha's actually use their NeWaza and Grapple. The world needs to see where this Grappling came from so please go back to those great days and let us Grapple.
Thanks for this badass highlight. Jimmy Pedro was a phenomenal champion and is now a phenomenal coach. His newaza was/is just as devastating as his tachiwaza. A very well-rounded and complete judo fighter.
I think he was one of the best newaza guys in the 90s He couldn't beat world champion Yukimasa Nakamura When he was in the 65kg division But after moving up to the 73kg, he beat Yukimasa's brother,Olympic champion Kenzo, several times
Jimmy Pedro and Travis Stevens are both very accomplished American judoka. But one name that not too many mention is Kevin Asano 1988 Olympic Judo Silver Medalist. He actually should have probably won the gold medal except for a controversial decision.
With his retirement from the sport you should do a video on Khabib Nurmagomedov. Maybe a highlight video, or showing moves commonly used in Judo and Wrestling. He's probably one of the biggest icons of grappling style fighting ever
Someone tell me about that goofy gi at 2:20… did that have a cage on it and yellow and black!?!? I mean if you’re jimmy Pedro I guess you can wear what ya want lol but can anyone give me some context in that

That first Tai Otoshi is perfection.

0:32 That transition to the choke seemed so smooth!
@LRK20 I think it's called the bow and arrow choke in BJJ and okuri eri jime in judo.
Is that apart of judo

Wanted to do it for a long time, but UFC is pretty strict with it's copyrights. I'll see what I can do about it.
