@@michaelweller5470 With respect, to say "The machine did it" is quite the understatement. If someone builds a house from wood, do you just say that 'The hammer did it?'. I am very familiar with this process and I can promise you that the designing, the drawing, the prep and execution are more time consuming than just hitting a start button on a machine. In fact, all of what I mentioned usually takes longer than the time it takes for the machine to do the carving.
I always enjoy your new videos!!! They look great! I noticed you have used a couple of different cnc brands. I am looking at getting one and wondered which you like best?
Your videos are always fascinating. I appreciate the extra detail you're showing. After you place the insert, are you relying on just setting it with the rubber mallet, or do you let the glue dry in a press?
Hello, how are you with the cnc stepcraft? You told me you had serious problems with the axiom cnc. The plan had gone awry, right? Isn't it because you make quite generous passes of 6mm?
Thank you for your videos. I notice all of your boards are end grain. Is there a ‘mechanical’ reason? Or can these in lays be done on long grain as well?

The video doesn't capture the difficulty of creating such precise wooden inserts. It's gorgeous !

Sorry to bug you but what CNC machine do you use? I am in the market for a more robust one. Thx!
The one in this video is a Stepcraft Q series and I think he has a Axiom Pro as well.
@@otherworldentertainment9511 thank you so very much. I am stuck between the Axiom Pro and the X-Carve pro, so this helps a lot. Have a wonderful day
