7:52 Yes, I do know how to make patterns and custom brushes in Clip Studio Paint. I hope my explanation will be enough... if not, let me know. First, select what you want for the pattern. Next go to “Edit”, then “Register Material”, then click “Image”. Name the material and check “Tiling”, and you can choose how you want it to be tiled from “Repeat”, “Reverse”, and “Flip” and what direction you want it to be tiled. Then choose a location to save it and give it some tags for searching (all though I’m pretty lazy about that, haha). And then click “OK” and BOOM, you’ve got a custom pattern in your materials. Do you want to know how to make a custom brush too?
For the first one I recommend using the smoothing pen in the category "special" it'll make the art look way smoother than just going all in with the liquify pen.
I also do the last one and on ibis paint x, but my steps are..... 1. Get the picture of your sketch. 2. Make it darker(it is necessary). 3. Go to another layer and set the blending mode to add. 4. Choose the airbrush tool. 5. Choose a colour. 6. Draw on the part you want to glow.
Idk if you still need this but In Clip Studio go to Edit > Register Material > Image. You will be brought to Material property. In the Paste operation there is tiling. Check the box once tiling is on you can mess with the direction and it has a preview of the image. Hope this helps anyone that needs it 💜

For the glow affect an easier hack (and better looking in my opinion) is to use the triangle airbrush in the glow areas, set the layer mode to "add" then lower the opacity. That's what I do.

In clip studio you can do the pattern thing. Just saving whatever pattern you want as an image, then goto File-->Import-->Pattern From Image... and choosing any image you have in there!
I think that a character that’s kinda inspired by a bubble would be cute, using the trick with the watercolours. It would be cool if it had that texture!

I'm pretty sure your first and last frame were the same :) HSL (hue saturation lightness) has 360 hues (it puts them on a circle with 360 degrees) where 0 and 360 are the same It made a super cool effect tho :0 and one frame doesn't make much difference

One way to make patterns in Clip Studio Paint is to use the copy stamp tool. But the way you did it in Ibis Paint might be easier. Great video btw!

Most people who use the droplet technique only use it as a base. They then cover it up with more layers that they use a normal brush for

For The Using Markers As Water Color Paint Part, I Actually Did This In Art Class. It Was Really Fun!
