I love this band! I wish nothing but the best for all of them! I like this kind of country that doesn’t sound like it came out of some kind of programmed algorithm machine! Gives me chills!
and you know when folks start talking, they're going to keep talking the entire show. Seen SF six times - only at two of them were we not surrounded by folks who thought it was a cocktail party with music in the background.
@@VajrahahaShunyata Not really...she generally plays venues that have no assigned seating, rather open floor and plenty of bar service activity...so blame her booking agent!
The irony is, this music is meant for honky tonks and hoedowns, where in my day you would get beaten for telling someone to shut up.. Gentrification really doesn't do the genre much good.. I mean, it's great for a few artistes in the short term but like gypsy jazz and blues, it soon gets boring when everyone's sitting with a glass of wine, complaining it's too loud.
Just saw them yesterday (May 6) in Vancouver Canada, same problem with the background talkers😠 on the other hand I was happy to see all the young fans clapping, stomping, cheering and singing along. If only they could respect the quiet parts a little more ❤
Thanks for recording and uploading!!! Seeing Sierra Ferrell, Oliver, Geoff, and Josh must be like getting a prize from the land , YT is as close as I get to a live show (so far!) What is the new song? starting at 8:40 on the recording. Thanks again
@@wrothman Thanks, William Rothman! Sierra Ferrell & company seem very agile and able to add things, different harmonies , and new songs, even during their tour; so much travel. Idk if they added "Redwood Hill" just since the news about Gordon Lightfoot. Yes, wonderful song.
@@eugeneunger2473 Sierra Ferrell's choices of which existing songs to cover, her discerning ears, EXCELLENT! I went and found an old black&white YT of Faron Young singing Faron Young's "Alone With You" ... and I wouldn't have particularly liked it ... however! as sung with Sierra Ferrell's voice and interpretation!!! ya know??? :-)
Here in Australia we have so much more respect for the artist , you pay money for the show, you want to HEAR the performer, simple, thanks Sierra & band!!!😊😉😊

I asked her respectfully to desist temporarily so I could hear the singing and she just shook her head and resumed the disruptive behavior. On exiting, I asked a friend to ID this monster, and he said, "that's Theresa Heinz Kerry".

Beautiful! Thank you for sharing this. Sierra's the best! 💞
I have my tix for May 2024!
Man I wish people who talk at concerts would stay home. Even if the artist isn't your jam, the noise poisons the experience for others.

I know......even on you tube I feel like yelling shut up!
Its a sign of the times and the "me" ego taking over....

That 7 Spanish Angels was FIRE!

It's "Redwood Hill," a wonderful song by Gordon Lightfoot, who died yesterday.

@@bealestreator8940 I agree. She has a vast list of covers.
Who the hell is yapping during this??? Why would you go to an acoustic show if you plan on talking the entire time? Never understood that.

Its started to be really common in America with the younger people 🤷♂️

They're drinking. She shut most of them up with "Seven Spanish Angels."
