    Oh my gosh!! Awesome video you guys!! I love your workshop and office!! Immaculate. I need you to come organize my workspace. I spend a third of my time looking for the tools I need. But that's because I don't have a clue what I'm doing LOL. I love the steering wheel holder that is genius. Your German machines are definitely my fav. Thank you for pointing out the importance of having a fire extinguisher and first aid kit, so important. Your office furniture is awesome!! Super creative. When you were showing your samples I think the only one I haven't seen a video for is the fish scale design. I love it. I have to look for that one. I'm still slowly working on the bug. Since income is non-existent at this point it has really slowed down. But there has been progress so that's good. I just can't wait for the day I email you the video of it finished. That will be a glorious day!! Well my friends thank you so much for sharing this video it was awesome! Please tell your son he did an amazing job on it. You guys are the best and I am still your number one fan. Love you a la Luna y de regreso. (I learned that just for you.) Lol 😘

      If the covers are cut precise no wrinkles would be formed. Or if the cover is thoroughly right, then something is going wrong with the fitting process.

    Thank you for sharing this,. It will help me yo improve my workshop ;) im planing to buy double needle machine but im not sure about distance between needles 8,10,12mm? Can u let me know with one is best fot car upholstery?

    • @Cechaflo
      @Cechaflo  3 года назад +2

      Regularly, 10 mm could is considered as a standard measure for car seats. I have chosen this measure for my double needle sewing machine.
      One half of an inch wide (12 mm approx.)is also for car seats and used a lot in furniture. I like this measure for sofa cushions, etc.
      8 mm is a nice narrow width for dashboards, consoles, door panels, etc. It means it would be advisable to have an additional machine set up to this distance.
      There are two kinds of double needle machines: flat bed and post bed. Both are useful. A post bed helps to sew double sewings easier in case of handling headrests or other rounded pieces such as handbags, etc.
      There are many good trademarks I cannot say which one is the best.
      The well known trademarks are Juki, Consew, Pfaff, Adler, Brother, Singer, etc.

      I mostly use non-bonded polyester threads (138 size) for decorative stitches.

      Bonded threads are much better because are more resistant and does not fray easily.

      @Cechaflo  3 года назад

      Estimado Juan, me parece que contesté el comentario en otro video. No lo encuentro. Pero si recuerdo algo de lo que comenté, es que en USA, la mayoría de tapiceros usan el Landau Glue que es resistente a la humedad y el calor.
      www.amazon.com/Dap-Weldwood-Contact-Adhesive-Solvent/dp/B004IH3HAQ
      Hay adhesivos que les llaman 'flame reatardant glue'. Estos lo utilizan cuando se tapiza aviones. Hasta los viniles, hilos, madera, etc. tienen una sustancia que los hace que no ardan con facilidad.
      Por ejemplo:www.permabond.com/resource-center/fire-resistant-adhesives-4-crucial-properties/
      www.bostik.com/us/global-search/?search=flame+retardant+adhesive&searchCategory=global

    • @Cechaflo

      @@isaacmartinez898 Estimado Isaac, le comento que casi todos los pegamentos amarillos de contacto resisten cierta temperatura. Los únicos que conozco son el 5000. el 2000 y otros que utilizan para pegar la formica y en zapatería.
      ruclips.net/video/o2xeezdF8Ss/видео.html
      Me imagino que su pregunta viene a que muchas veces cuando pegamos un techo interior o alguna otra pieza, estas se despegan por el calor. Le sugiero que para evitar esto hay que pasar dos veces el pegamento amarillo. La primera capa funciona como 'primer'(promotor de adherencia). Hay que dejarlo secar bien antes de aplicar la segunda capa. De esta manera va estar bien difícil que se llegue a despegar por el calor.
