This might be my most wanted course to return in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass. Such a pleasure to race on from the amazing visuals to the music to all the enemies to avoid.
When I was 10 years old, this was my favorite DS retro track in the game. Driving inside an airship, getting shot by bullet bills, cannon, driving down a spiral, and the track is based off Mario 3’s airship levels.
I don't know why it took me this long to realize that the sky is red in this version of Airship Fortress instead of purple like it was in the original version.
It’s kind of sad that this game has it but not 8 Deluxe, especially when Nintendo wasted a good opportunity or more for this track. They really hurt a lot of Mario Kart DS fans.
Uhhhhhh... There's good news and bad news. The bad news is: DS Mario Circuit got in instead of DS Airship Fortress in wave IV, and that was the last DS slot. The good news is: it might have a chance to get into wave 6, but we don't know until the next Nintendo Direct that's happening in September.

DS Airship Fortress - First, you enter the airship. Then as you drive along the airship, you will reach a cannon which will blast you to its fortress.
