And that is why the manager is Raphael Ibanez, a waaaaayyyy more humane and familiar figure for players. He counters Galthier's rashness perfectly !
Ibanez is brilliant on detail, Edwards is enormous and Galthié dares and all bring genius and confidence to a dense group of 60 very talented players. Match by match watching the group grow to win against the best is simply quite satisfactory. C’est du trop beau, enfin.
Ibanez has great social skills. If him and Galthié work harmoniously they would be the 2 faces of one of the same coin ( a f**k**g effective coin), if i make sense.
And i don't forget Shawn Edwards in the mix...
Galthier is a man if a player doesn't respect him his international career is over
Should it be, could it be otherwise ?
Ah les Anglo-saxons ! If a French sportsman dominates them all (which Galthié clearly does in his field), he must have some flaws. So galthié is brutal. Ridiculous.
He is not brutal, he is a méthodiste . Et pour réussir à changer les choses, il faut être comme ça. Ne soyez pas déçu parce que c’est un Français. Mais vous avez donc un méthodiste anglais: Andy Farrell. Vous n’y avez pas pensé. The 2 teams ou plays thé News rugby are Ireland and France. Sory !
Hes not brutal hes just good
I don't think he is that brutal, I mean he seems really close to his players
Galthie is not brutal, he's strict and can make decisions. You all are snow flakes 😂😂😂😂
How can you be a rugby journalist and not know how to pronounce Galthié? Imagine that in football? Ridiculous
Ach chill oot mate
Fabien is not brutal guys ! he is just strict and old school ! that a realy good coach!
Jamie's head is a perfect model for the next Duke Nukem first person shooter.
He's a coach of rugby players not a coach of ballet dancers wearing tutu
She's just seeking sensational stuff. She does not know Fabien Galthié, at all.
The woman who is speaking about Galthié is not even able to pronounce correctly his name...
Come on! Didn't she prepare this programme at least a little bit??
And I don't even speak about French language in general, they don't even try to pronounce some rare French words they use correctly (with a so thick English accent that this is ridiculous).
Give them a break, i bet she/ they can't say a word in welsh. It's not just french. But i hear you mate, it can be frustrating when Galthié is the head coach.
I’m more surprised she doesn’t know what a Buffalo is..
Watremez was a lousy prop and this shows he did not have the mental dimension to be a pro prop. Frank Tournaire or Pascal Ondarts or Momo Haouas would have never taken this.
I don’t even think the girl is biased (that would be because Galthié is a foreigner and she did not even bother checking how to pronounce his name properly, which incidently shows what kind of a professional she is). I reckon she is simply incompetent, and seems to have no clue as to what professional rugby is all about. ; not to say professional sport altogether. The story about the Argentinian guy is ridiculous. The player who tells it should know better. On which planet in this universe have you seen that a respected coach should accept a player of his team be signed (or re-signed for that matter) without his being informed and interrogated about it ? Besides, and in addition to that, it has to be said that the head management of the club in question (Montpellier-Hérault) did not enjoy a very good reputation at the time. This being said they were not crazy. Between the player and the coach, they clearly did not hesitate too long. For crying out loud, at this level what can you expect to achieve if you don’t make yourself respected in the first place ? I guess that this is why Galthié is now one of the best in the world at what he is doing.
I may have seen Galthie in a few Pierre Woodman classics.
galthier is brutal?!
A perfect example of why non--rugby "Journos" should not be on podcasts or TV coverage! Fabien Galthie has been a well known player and coach for 20+ yrs and this "diversity hire" hadn't a clue how to pronounce his name!!!
Lool it really ain't that deep
👍
In France we said "C'est une blonde" ;-)
Love this show
