Being from Kentucky that’s the only way we’ve ever said it, although we know it’s not the correct way to say it, we will still defend that pronunciation to the very end 🤣 and a lot of Kentuckians (not us) get upset when it’s pronounced the correct way. I hope they build up to like it was in the 90s. Used to love the place and six flags destroyed it with the incident with the girls foot which was maintenance problem . Glad it survived.
I agree, it seemed bigger when I was a child. I was devastated when it closed because that was the first park I ever visited and the one that started my love for theme parks. I’m glad it survived as well.

Kentucky Kingdom is my hometown park
