Honestly it’s a new era for them and I’m so glad they’ve blown up. I REALLY loved their album prior to Hypa Hypa and I still think people should check it out as something else to check out from them. To be clear I am a huge fan of the new style.
The band has really benefited from Nico. But everyone should also check out the stuff before that. There are some great treasures there. For example "The Devil Within" or "Prisim". One of my favorite albums is still "Crystals" from 2015.
Kevin+Nico's bromance will go down into Music History.
I have only just started listening to Electric Callboy, but nothing that Kevin said was a surprise.
I appreciate that a lot of people like the stuff with their old singer, but it was never for me, which is why it took me so long to give them another try. But I think the last few years, they have become something so unique and interesting. Almost genre-defying.
Cant wait for October, im luck enough to get to see the band in Cardiff!!

Sushi wanted to make good music, the other guys wanted to make money. Both sides got what they wanted, but to say that the songwriting on the EC side got better is absolute BS. Sell-Outs, they are.
