    Thanks for doing this Scott!! I didn’t realise how deep the new bridge footings were. I got to walk over the dam when it was finished but empty and got to look over the impressive 100m vertical drop to the base, so I guess the river bottom wouldn’t be much less deep at Bannockburn.

      Thanks for the kind words. It was some impressive engineering. Since the lake filling, there is a lot of silt build-up in the area so not so deep now.
